No more SNORING!!!

OMG! My husband, who snores louder than anything I've ever heard, and all night long, bought some kind of moldable mouth-piece and slept with it last night. NO SNORING AT ALL!!! Finally! After all the methods and products and doctors appointments, finally something that REALLY works!!

I have one of those I got from the UK. You place it in just boiled water and then put it in your mouth to form it to your teeth/jaw while slightly pushing your lower jaw slightly forward.

I think it works for the most part but I hate using it because it's like braces. It makes my teeth move. When I wake up in the morning, my bottom teeth now clunk into my upper teeth.

Besides that, when I take it out in the morning, (this is gross!), it's covered in a night's worth of slobber.

My local ABC station did an informal test of three snore aides. One of them was the puresleep. For the one person that tried it, it didn't work. The one that did work (Breath rite snore strips), I tried. They didn't work.

Hubby tried those strips and they didnt work.
I suppose different people have different problems that causes their snoring.
He's tried sprays, gels, pills, getting kicked , nose strips, pillows. Nada.

I'm just thankful today.

I am so glad to hear this! I almost ordered this for DH but didn't know if it worked. He doesn't snore too bad but I am a light sleeper and don't want to get into the habit of sleeping pills every night.

On the website it said there might be some jaw 'discomfort' in the morning because it pulls the jaw forward. Did your husband say anything about that? I read that part and didn't want DH to find another way to feel like a martyr.

Those snore strips are a waste of money. The only thing I have found to work are ear plugs for me lol. I hate wearing them, but its better than staring at the ceiling all night or fighting with him. They block out enough of him, and yet I can still hear the goings on in the house.
In a perfect world my DH would just not snore. For years this has drove me crazy. Even resorted to many nights on the couch. I had a cold not too long ago and he said I snored... i was like, 'pay back'

It's very common for loud snorers to have sleep apnea which is dangerous. My husband-olympic snorer-is being tested for apnea in a couple of weeks but I'm going to talk to him about this apparatus. I've started to fix up the guest room for him. I'm not leaving our bed; he's the offender so he's getting banished, lol. I need my sleep.

What is it - and where did you get it? DD's MIL desperately needs to get one of these for her DH.. He is the loudest snorer (is that a word?) ever - and she is a very, very light sleeper!!

It's something like those football mouthpiece, or the dental kind. You sink in boiling water then bite your indentations into it. This one might be top and bottom connected... I havent touched it! LOL! I was so asleep, I didnt care what the thing looked like!! I KNOW its top and bottom, but not sure if they are connected.
