No More Photo Packages at Character Meals or Resorts !!!

I am happy they will no longer be coming to the table. Seemed like such a waste of product and peoples time. It was always awkward because I am not spending that much on a package. I have Memory Maker and get the photos myself. It makes perfect sense for them to stop.

I also heard as referenced by the link above that WDW is hiring 1,000 workers and some of those are front desk people

ummm am I missing something? How will this translate into jobs lost? Won't Disney utilize them in a different matter, cross-train, OR better yet, maybe there are plans underway for something bigger and brighter on the horizon that Disney needs to open up schedules for photographers...

Also heard Disney is hiring more CMs so please explain to me why not having people circulate selling photos, is gonna mean HUGE layoffs??!?!?!

I think people sensationalize news without actually deciphering first... These boards are famous for over-reactions
