No more Mickey bars at DLR?

We're currently at Disneyland for the first time, and all my son has been talking about for weeks is that he wants a Mickey Premium ice cream bar. When we finally got here, everyone has been telling him that they are out park-wide, with one CM saying they aren't carrying the bars again ever.
Anyone out there have any info on if he can still find one while we're here, and where? Tomorrow's our last day and I'd love to be able to make this happen for him!
Thanks!

We are here this week as well and had zero luck finding one too.

We finally asked a CM and he told us the same thing. They have the Mickey ice cream sandwich but no longer carry the "Mickey on a stick" for the foreseeable future. Just seems wrong on so many levels.

I was just there this past weekend and saw them at an ice cream cart between the entrance to Carsland and Pacific Wharf in DCA. I remember specifically because I was debating about getting one of the Mickey bars or a sundae from Ghirardelli. The sundae won :)

oh no! I hope they don't get rid of those. My daughter loves them, they are such a fun treat.

First the ToT and now the Mickey bars.....come on Disney enough is enough!

The worst part is that every place has signs up claiming they have them, but when you ask for one...
We're going to end up asking at every single stand today, I guess. I'll let you know if I find any

That is not cool. That was one of the snacks that I knew that I had to get on my last trip.

That is so strange! We have never gotten one as we have other must-have treats, but the Mickey bars are iconic! Perhaps they are changing the company to manufacture them? I can't imagine them being gone for good!

We had the same issue a few weeks ago! Very frustrating! We got told this was due to supplier issues and then the next day they reappeared, but the day after they were gone again! It was frustrating that none of the stands indicated on their boards that they weren't stocking them.

The Mickey bars are made by Nestle, a major Disney sponsor.... So the company that owns Haagen-Dazs, Dreyer's/Edy's, Drumstick and others can't make them? Is there an issue with a specific plant and/or machinery? Wish I knew the back story on this.....

Not sure if this relates at all, but I remember a couple years back that there was a huge outcry when they disappeared suddenly from the cruise ships. They eventually made their way back to the ships. I believe it was a problem with the manufacturer or distributer. Fingers crossed that it's just temporary.

They had them on October 3 when we were there. I can't imagine them getting rid of something so popular. Hopefully this is just temporary.

We were there Oct 4-8. I think my DH ate them all. OMG it was ridiculous. But he had a wonderful time! :-)

Try the gift shops in the DL Hotels. They are less travelled and you might find one there. I can't imagine DL not carrying them ever again. I think my DH would refuse to ever go back.

That is so crazy! I was just there last Saturday and I got one from the cart next to CS in DCA. They are made at the Haagen-Dazs plant in the town right next to mine - I'll have to see if I know anyone who works there and find out what is going on. I agree with @GatorChris - this could cause WW3!

The same thing happened on Disney Cruise Line a few years ago. There was a supplier issue and they changed to the sandwiches for a while. People were being told that they weren't going to have them anymore, they will only have the sandwich from now on, etc. People were definitely disappointed by the lack of Mickey Bars. But luckily they showed back up again.

This could be a contract issue, where Nestle wants an increase in the per unit price due to rising costs, and Disney doesn't want to pay it. So we have the "fight" for awhile, and then both sides make up and things return to normal, though the price of that Mickey's Bar might be higher in the parks....

Well Clarabelle's makes awesome Sundaes. Maybe your son would be happy with that? After inquiring at every cart of course.
