No more lunch adr beaches and cream??

Today is my 180. I searched every day over 9 days for beaches and cream lunch and nada. I even put one person. Thinking this was off, I searched from sept- January and no lunch adr. Glitch or did they change it?

I thought I read somewhere in here that it changed. Only a small window of add for lunch and the rest walk up?

Would sure like to know the answer to this, as Beaches and Cream is a favorite of ours. Because of limited seating the adr's became a bit of a hassle, so hopefully there's some FCFS (first come first serve) table seating again.

I've had the same difficult time with Beaches and Cream reservations. I wonder if @TheRustyScupper has any thoughts on this.

I continue to be amazed that Disney wants me to make a reservation to eat ice cream. Uh NO! So this place is off my list! It might come back if common sense breaks out at Disney

You don't need an ADR to eat ice cream. You can walk up. If you want to eat a meal there, you needed an ADR in the past.

Oh no......I love they have ADRs. We have gone many times since they started it. So nice. I never had a problem booking one.
Had hoped to go in Jan, but if there are no ADRs anymore, I will change my plans.

I had an ADR there for lunch this coming Tuesday at 1:20. Maybe they are dropping them for trips next year, but I booked this lunch one about a month ago.

Yeah, I can't imagine going out there for the chance of a walk up when the inside of the place is so small - like I'm thinking it was under 12-15 tables in there plus a few barstools.

The OP is correct that you don't need a reservation to get ice cream - just enter the door on the right and you will be helped. And on a couple of occasions we asked for seats at the fountain bar, without a reservation, and we got them.

I just tested it and I could get a lunch ADR on Dec 28th.

I think that the ADR's are hard to get because the restaurant is so small. It only has three booths and five tables, or maybe four booths and 6 tables - whatever. It is small.

I have a 2pm (lunch) ADR there on 7/22.

This was the Plaza Restaurant in the MK not Beaches & Cream.

If I don't want to sit on dirty tables outside to eat my ice cream I need a reservation.

I have a lunch resize for 8/21 at 12pm! But for my week...it was the only one available and I booked at 180+10.

Last year, on a whim, I was in SAB and thought, "Lunch at Beaches and Cream would be nice." I got out of the pool...marched up...(It was about 11:45 A.M.), and asked. I was told that within 30-35 min. I could be seated, so if your'e in the area, try for a walk-up.

I was able to get one at the 180-day mark for our trip in October. I have seen a few late night ones available too lately, but all the midday slots seem to be long gone at this point.
