No more lotion?

We stayed at Yacht Club last Aug and got lotion there/then. But, when we joined DVC and had our first stay this past May at BWV (1bdrm) and AKV (studio) there was no lotion. I love the lotion and was disappointed. I just thought it was an extra that DVC didn't get to help keep the MF's down.

We haven't had lotion at any of our last 2 trips in 4 reservations. We have been at OKW twice and AKV twice in that time, and no lotion at any of them.

I've been staying in DVC resorts since Jan 2006 and have never had lotion on any stay, other than perhaps on the AKV Concierge stay. That was before the switch to the new products. Those stays included OKW, VWL and BWV. Since the switch to the new products we've also stayed at AKV.

I don't think we've ever gotten lotion on our DVC stays either. Maybe early on - for us that would have been 2002/2003 or so. But I know it hasn't been there the last three years.

Add me to the list of those who has never received lotion in a villa with the exception of AKV concierge. We've been members since 2002. We have always received lotion (or hand cream in past years) at deluxe resorts.

Personally, I don't mind. I have a small bottle of a favorite in my 311 baggie and often buy a new lotion at Basin White or H20 at one of the resort stores.

I think it's like newspapers. We love getting one at our door when we stay deluxe but understand that it doesn't matter to all members. Why should everyone have to pay extra dues for a small luxury.

Actually, I've been a DVC Member now since 1998 and I "think I remember" maybe getting the lotion once?? Maybe... (lately I can't remember squat! )

That's weird.....we've had 4 DVC stays at VWL and BWV since 2005 and ALWAYS gotten lotion. We never use it; I hoard it and then when I'm home, I use it to make me think of vacation.

That makes me sad!!!! I suppose it's due to "customer feedback"!!!!!

We stayed at SSR in June had lotion thru entire week, we changed rooms three times and had the new line with lotion each time.... I was just noticing my supply was running low and was hoping in Dec I could replenish....

We stayed at OKW and BCV in aug and neither had lotion. However, we stayed one night at CSR and there was lotion there, but no shower gel.

Lotion stopped at the DVC resorts when they switch from the Mickey bottles to the new toiletries.

The only place I remember ever receiving lotion was on DCL. Don't recall every getting any at a DVC resort - at least not since we bought in Dec. '06.

This is fine with me tho as I like my own stuff...

We had lotion Jun 08 OKW Grand Villa, AKV 2BR Oct 08, 1BR AKV Feb 09.
None in BWV 2BR Jun 09 and I asked & was told they were out and none at OKW 2BR Aug 09.

No lotion at AKV this past weekend. This is where we've always gotten it, until this time. This time we were AKV concierge, but we have gotten it in ordinary AKV Jambo rooms, don't remember about Kidani. I bring it home and have about 3 bottles from previous trips. This time we got toothbrushes, toothpaste and two little bottles of mouthwash. I love the lotion! I hope it comes back!

We're at AKV right now and no lotion. We have had it our last several stays and I was counting on it for this stay. So ....trip to the store to buy some and then it will be stored in our OL so I always have it.
