No more Jetted Tubs?

Are the rumors true that DVC has started to remove the jetted tubs from one/two bedroom villas as refurbs happen? Are there really no jetted tubs now at BCV?

Interesting that the jetted tubs were left at BWV during the just completed renovations. I wonder why!

My guess is there was less money in the BWV budget because a complete renovation was done in 2009/2010.

I think that it's a lot more work for the mousekeepers to clean a jetted tub than a standard tub. This is from my experience at home with a jetted tub It came with the house, but I kind of hate it!

There are ways to make bubbles even without the jets....

The air jet tubs like they put in at VGF should be far easier to clean than the water jet tubs BCV had. No water goes through pipes in the air jet tubs to make the bubbles. I would think Mousekeeping would only have to wipe down the inside of the tub like they would a soaker tub. I'm still very annoyed that the BCV tubs weren't replaced with the air jet tubs.

This tub does not look like it will accommodate my 5' 10" frame unless I want my knees in my chest. Honestly, I don't even use the jets that much in the jetted tubs, but I sure enjoy sprawling out in them. This change is rather disappointing to me.
