I just logged into Ridemax to work on my itinerary for next week and a special message came up saying that there is no more FP for IJ until mid-May due to construction. Has anybody else heard this?

Ooooooooo, sounds like a conspiracy theory going on. We were just there at Easter and the fast pass machines were a life saver for us. I hope that isn't the case because it can be really hard to get on. One great tip is to watch the fireworks on the first night that you can and if you are there for other nights with fireworks, opt for going on ride during that time. We went on IJ one night and POTC, twice one night during the fireworks.

on some of the other boards it has been reported that they are going to be working on the queue of Indy and thus the entrance will be using the exit and therefore no fastpass until the work is done.....tentative date I read was May 18th.

Yes, it is being reported by a reputable source over on MiceChat.

Ugh, this is bad news. My daughter is too short for this ride, so our only hope of getting to experience it for the first time was switching off...which would be much easier with FP's...

There is NO WAY my DD will stand in a line forever when she can't even ride the ride...

Ugh. Bad news for us!

Man. Now I have to redo my RideMax plans since I printed them out as soon as May was up and as of then, IJ still had FP. :headache:

FWIW, RideMax advises users to always create their final plans as close to their departure date as possible. Besides things like this (Indy) it is not unusual for them to adjust data based on more up to date info.

Well, as of today there was nothing screwy regarding construction and Indiana Jones Fastpass... :confused3

That sucks.

Yea I used FP last time for Indiana Jones and man it was wonderful.

Thankfully if it's until mid may i'll miss it being offline and it'll work when i'm there.

Last year they closed down the FP for Indy while they constructed the seating for the Pirates II premiere. Seems to me that was about 2 weeks before the premiere.

so how can I find out just before we go or get there what is EE and waht has FP.......
We can check the net from our hotel the night before so what would be THE MOST reliable and easiest way.

What Web site????

According to Darkbeer, a very reputable DLR reporter on Mouseplanet:

"Indiana Jones Adventure is going to have its Queue Ramp replaced, so starting Monday April 16th, there will be NO Fastpass for the attraction, and a temporary entrance near the normal exit will be the entrance thru May 18th."

The actual attractions open for EE are not published online for a particular week. Since they are relatively stable, this is not necessary.

The most up to date list of FP rides at DLR is given here: “The Joy of FASTPASS - details and secrets”: www.micechat.com/forums/showthread.php?t=5720

But for temporary FP changes like Indy I doubt they will update it.

just use rider swap, and while the first riders wait, dd and an adult go do something else, then meet up and swap! then she gets to do another thing with another adult, then meet up again!

we rode indy 1st on our 1st trip, we didn't use fastpass, but the swap was just fine. would have been better had i taken my own advice and *done* something other than just sit there with ds, but i didn't realize how long the line would be.

What is going on  first I fine out that for my trip to DL Fantasmic will not be going on which is one of my favorites :sad2: now possibly no FP for Indiana Jones what is this world coming to?

But on the happy side of things I will be going to DL for my 2nd visit next month :cheer2:

when was this? I was at Disneyland yesterday and I got a fastpass for it. This must have started today then.

starts tomorrow. I'm not very happy! I sure hope the crowds are low while we are there. Guess we'll just make it a point to go to Adventureland first thing in the morning.

Where did you get this information? The other possible date mentioned earlier is May 18th.
