No more countdown on DVC website?

I logged into the DVC website today and instead of showing me the countdown, it’s showing me search for availability. Anyone else seeing this change?

I’ve always gotten the Search for Availability as the first page on DVC. However, I could always click on something to see my countdown. Today I couldn’t!

No countdown for me either. That stinks. Why would they take that away-member requests? And for the PP who couldn't log in, I had trouble too. But I just left and tried again.

I am getting the look for availability as the top part so maybe they decided that would make more sense to have vs the countdown?

It was nice to see…although it didn’t always match because I have two UYs so I sometimes got the wrong one! Lol

In some ways it appears to me that the member website, or at least the dashboard, rolled back to a previous iteration. Not only do I not get the countdown when I log on, now the Notifications icon shows the total number of notifications, whether I've read them or not. It hadn't been doing that for a while.

Wow. My notifications have always stayed no matter how often I read. How is it possible that people can have so many different experiences.

I have no countdown and then when I do search availability it opens up a completely new tab with the results. The whole thing is wonky.

I called MS today to discuss upgrading tickets to APs and mentioned missing the countdown. Said they would submit a form with my feedback. I would log in just to see the countdown flip off 3 days…now I have to go to my dashboard and no animation.

BTW - there was another form for call back on upgrading tickets to AP and a 14 day wait.

When I log in and hover my mouse over My DVC, the Notifications tag says 3. So I go to read them, and the same three at the top are open, although I read them long ago and closed them up, but the three at the bottom are closed. Then I click Return to Dashboard, and the Notifications tag under Menu says 6 - and when I hover my mouse over My DVC again, the Notifications tag says 6 now! Oh well, I guess I should be glad that I can log in without trouble and check my waitlist and try to modify the reservation I'm waitlisting for. What a mess!
