No more borrowing for me!

I bought 170 points when WLV opened and thought that would be enough. Well I learned that you can never have enough.
I just added on 100 points at SSR.
I know I did the right thing because I have "borrowed" and "rented" at least 100 points each year for the past two years, and have bought a week from someone who had a timeshare and traded into Disney.
I just have to go crunch some numbers now. Working at a college is great for the time off, but not getting paid for the time off really makes budgeting tougher. Peggie

If you were renting points and borrowing like that, you definitely needed more points. And I'm sure you'll enjoy having SSR as your second home as well. Congratulations!

we started with the minimum 150 points at bcv. A few months later we added on at WLV. Last fall we bought another 100 points at SSR. Guess what. We have 50 points left in the 2005 use year.....as you've learned, you can never have enough...

get ready to borrow those new points, Peggy. The good news is, you don't have to worry about losing your points to experation if you are always borrowing!!

Once a borrower, always a borrower. We have 430 points and always borrow to the limit. Borrowing from yourself is OK.

We hear you there Stinson! We started out in '98 with 150 BWV points and thought that was a lot! We figured we could go several times a year and stay in a studio. (Lo and behold, we have NEVER stayed in a studio at BWV... The one bedroom really spoils ya!)

There are only just the two of us in the family but we added on 150 a couple years ago; and then last year added on another 100 bringing us to 400 points.

Believe it or not, we are still borrowing!

We went a couple times in the beginning alone but have taken my husband's family twice to a GV at BWV and the Beach Cottage at Vero. Our neice has been to Disney World with us twice and she is only 4!

So... just a word of caution as others have said... You can never have enough points!
