No more $5 MagicBands? (Update: They Are Back)

Tonight I was looking through the pre-order MagicBands and there are no solid color $5 MagicBands available. Does anyone know if this a temporary situation or have they been eliminated?

This is definitely a change within the last day. I think it may be a glitch, and they will be back, but I guess we will see!

I hope they are back. I want to order a couple plain ones for the adults (most of us will use a puck holder on a watch band anyway) and a couple special ones for the kids.

I just looked and only saw the magic bands for $10 and up. No solid colored $5 bands. I hope I'm wrong.

No colors at the moment it seems, but don't despair - there are several "2020 vacation" and defunct nighttime show (Rivers of Light) options to choose from.

Disney announced last June that complementary MagicBands would no longer be provided for arrivals 1/1/21+.

So I contacted Disney about the issue and was told that it is a technical issue and they will return.

I’ve been checking their availability a few times a day and noticed some bands come and go. So check again if you have quite a bit of time before your trip.

Just checked, and all solid colors except blue and gray are back now.

Looks as if they have removed the 2020 ones, but NBA is still there...

I'm hoping for some new offerings in the next month or so before I want to order some for the family.

They are only available with a Disney resort stay.
