I am checking in Aug 16 and no Mickey mail or ME stuff. THis is the first time using a TA and I feel I should have these things by now..

We've not used a TA since our 1st trip many moons ago, but it's my understanding that the Mickey Mail goes to the TA 1st and they then ship it out to you. When receiving directly from Disney, it usually comes around the 25-35 day mark. We got ours for this trip (checking in 7/31-8/8) at about day 32 or so. I'd call the TA...

I emailed her and she said due to all the changes with DME, everything seems to be delayed. She would email when she sends it out. I am ready to call Disney and see if it was every sent.

Any idea as to which DME changes she was referring to? We got all our stuff -DME passes, luggage tags, and DME yellow luggage tags- in one package???

I leave the 17th and got my ME stuff 2 weeks ago. I also check back in on the 22nd and got Mickey mail last week. I think your TA should call. I also have my magic bands we are testers. SO I think the dme is a bad excuses.

I got my Magic Bands but only because it popped up when I was signing into the Disney Webite. I switched the shipping address to my house so they were shipped to my house directly.

It sounds like your TA is blaming Disney! ;) As long as he or she entered your flight information correctly the first time the ME packet would have automatically been sent 30 days prior. Maybe he or she entered your flight info late?

We are checking in 8/14. We booked directly through Disney and received ours a about 10 days ago.

Don't be too quick to think it is a Travel Agent problem. The Mickey Mail and ME packet are supposed to be sent to the Travel Agency address. Then (in most cases) the Travel Agency mails the packets to the Travel Agent (assuming they don't work out of an Agency office) who then mails it to the client.

I booked three reservations at the same time. I booked ME on one reservation by phone. I booked another ME reservation online. The third reservation is not using ME. On one reservation ME shows when it is retrieved (the on booked over the phone). On the other reservation with ME it has never shown on the reservation when I retrieve it on the Disney Travel Agent site. I have verified three times with ME that this reservation is in their system.

When the packets were received by the Agency early last week all three had the Mickey Mail but only one had the ME packet (the one booked over the phone and showing when the reservation is retrieved online). Even though the online reservation shows ME, the Mickey Mail did not show ME selected (although the voucher and luggage tags were in the same envelop). The other packet has the Mickey Mail but no ME packet. I called ME again last Thursday, they verified that reservation was in their system and said the ME packet had been mailed to the Agency in June but we send another one to the Agency that day. The second packet has not been received by the Agency as of today. The Agency owner is going to call ME and have them sent a packet directly to the client (the Agent can't change the address, only the Agency can do that according to the ME person I spoke with).

The owner of the Agency says it is not uncommon for her to have the same kinds of problems with ME for her own clients.

Luckily you don't really need either of these packets to check in at the hotel or to use ME.

If you don't have the yellow tags, hand them your luggage claim tickets and they will still pick them up for you. We had this happen one year when someone took 2 pieces of checked baggage and we only received enough yellow tags for 1 checked bag per person.

She is talking about a TA; which is different than booking direct.
