No membership number?

If your in the process of buying from Disney is it true you can make reservations before everything has closed and have a membership number? We called our guide last weekend and told her we were ready to purchase BCV and we also put down a deposit and are now waiting for the paperwork we are financing thru Disney as well. Also how quick is Disney with processing paperwork? I heard they are really backed up right now.

When I purchased in Nov. 2002, my membership number came with my paperwork through Fedex. It is a temporary card until you close out.

I found the process to be rather fast. I started the process in late October and closed on Nov. 23, 2002. It all went very smooth.

If you have already paid your deposit, you are probable in the DVC system already and can make a reservation.

Call your agent for information about getting started.

You should be able to make a reservation. MS can also look you up by your social security number.

I still remember when we made our first reservation. It is rather exciting and MS couldn't have been more helpful.
