Looks the same as the dinner menu. They used to have someone sandwiches etc? Not any more? Thanks!
I think they figured nobody would pay $62 for a sandwich.

last time we went in 2018 the sandwiches were good and honestly not priced highest than some QS places. It was nice to sit in there and eat. But no, I don’t want an expensive dinner at lunch. It’s disappointing but oh well, glad I went with my daughter when we did!
Though to be fair, one can order an app to share and drinks in the Lounge of Space 220 (BOG doesn't have a similar setup). I personally think they were wise to do a "best of both worlds" approach because surely it increases their profit! They changed because they wanted to for a full meal instead of someone just getting a cupcake or something. Same reason you see Space 220 having the fixed price for meals right now as well to make it so people don't just order an app to share and drinks (basically making it in to Oga's when its not supposed to be).

Right. Except, BOG doesn't have a lounge whereas S220 does. And since S220 was built with the lounge specifically designed, I doubt it was "we can't reasonably sell this space for a proper dinner" (which they totally could - most of the lounge is normal tables with chairs and not by the window). They did have a bar but that's a considerably small portion of the lounge (I went on day 2). My guess is that, having learned lessons from places like BOG, if they were planning it from scratch (and had the space), they'd make sure to have a place like the lounge because they can get the dollars that would've avoided a ADR while still bringing in significantly more than a cupcake (my app/drink was still something like 30+tax/tip (I'm assuming that when people would get a cupcake, it was less than 10?).Except they do that for all lounges with limited capacity and no guarantee of getting in.
It's basically bar seating that they couldn't reasonably sell for a proper dinner.

I don't understand what you mean by this (or really, any of your comments to me). OP asked about differing menus between lunch/dinner at BOG. People pointed out prix fixe and eventually you said this is why S220 is prix fixe so people don't go and order an app/drink only. But they can. That was my only point - you said apps/drink aren't an option at S220 but they are. And WDW did that intentionally, and they made more than 10 dollars or whatever the cupcake had been going for (demonstrating they learned a valuable lesson about maximizing space - pun intended - and profit). Space 220 is not 75 dollars without a drink because you can go to the lounge - which is part of the restaurant and not just "a bar" (at least in a literal sense) - and order things for less. What any of that has to do with Iowa or anything else is just incomprehensible.Which is a lot in Iowa not a lot in WDW. Space220 is $75 without a drink?
Because they don't have a bar.
