No luggage tags! :(

We leave three weeks from today, and I only have received Magic Bands. I’ve gotten no other actual mail, just some emails. We did book a package through WDW directly. Now I’m curious to see if anything else shows up! I don’t really care either way, but this thread sparked my interest.

The specific tags aren't available for sale by Disney. you got them because you booked packages and got magic bands, most likely.



The souvenir tags aren't really useful for flying. Too easy to tear off in the airport machinery.



They have been in the MB box in a side part that you have to know to open to open it. Or you have to be someone who tears boxes apart.

I literly tore the box apart. there are no tags in that box.

We got two green luggage tags in a letter along with some coupons for mini golf etc. We leave in 13 days.

I haven't ordered any magic bands because we have plenty.

I received an email over the weekend telling me they were sending luggage tags out and they came today. They are 50th Anniversary themed and very nice. Also included the tickets for ESPN and Minigolf. I arrive on the 16th and booked a package direct online for room and Wilderness Lodge. Based on what i've seen here i wasn't expecting it.

Goodness, those are hideous. I was wondering why I never got our (even though we had to cancel because of Covid). But I doubt I'd ever put those on our suitcases. It looks like the Joker designed those. IMHO

I think they are cute. And I loved the short they are from, where Mickey comes to the rescue across Paris with beaucoup de baguette

The 16th of October? How far in advance did you do online checkin? We have a trip around Thanksgiving and it would be great to get these. We also booked our package directly through Disney.

For reference, I did online check in last week. The confirmation email I received said they would be shipped to my home though. For our last trip, we ended up with double magic bands because they didn’t arrive before we left, replaced them at the desk, and the original ones arrived while we were at Disney..

I leave in 40 days… so still a bit out but I have a package booked and have bought (and received) magic bands. Nothing else. No other mail. No luggage tags. Nothing.

We leave in 5 days and got 50th anniversary tags in the mail last week. There was also a cute 50th mickey sticker and the vouchers for mini golf etc. This is our first time ever getting luggage tags despite dozens of trips. Normally we stayed on property with FL resident/AP discounts and drove. We moved to NC this summer and are flying in and using Magical Express for the first time ever. We ordered magic bands which came in a separate box.

I asked for the luggage tags at checkin and the person seemed puzzled. They did eventually find them and I got them the next day.

If you look for 'magical extras' on the Disney website you will see a list of discounts etc.

I booked at the end of August and did the check in right after. After seeing posts here I was prepared to ask at the desk when I arrived.

For my husband's and my anniversary trip in 2019 we didn't receive the luggage tags and I forgot to stop by the desk and ask for some.

For my girls trip in March 2021 we did receive 6 tags, one for each person/magicband (ordered Jaunary 5th and received on the 14th):


I just ordered our magicbands for our upcoming February 2022 trip yesterday, I'll have to come update when they come if I get tags this time or not.
