no luck with BOG

Just tried to book BOG, any day, any time between Sept 22 and 30. Nothing available at all for a party of 2, is it weird or normal?

I've heard it is very normal not to get in unless you book 180 days out. I just made my 180 day reservations today and was only able to get BOG on our last day. So actually it is 187 days out.

When my 180 opened up for my September trip, nothing showed up for about a week. Then I was able to book the two reservations I wanted.

I think small parties of one or two are at a disadvantage because there just aren't as many two-top tables in the restaurant. One of my reservations is for one (me) and the other is for three (me and two friends). I had more choices of times for the party of three than the party of one.

I wouldn't give up, but it does seem to take some work to get in BOG.

Don't give up. I booked my trip at 110 days out and was able to get an ADR for BOG at 108 days. I checked obsessively for the first 2 days and nothing was available. I just got lucky one of the times because one popped up.
Also, check the cancelled ADR thread, someone may post when they cancel one and hopefully you can get on and book it when they do.

I wouldn't lose all hope. I woke up at 5am to book our BOG reservation right when our 180 window opened and got it. That was for this past week. Imagine my surprise when I'm checking in for a 5pm dinner and a family walks up to the podium right next to us and asks if there are any walk ins available and are lead right in with me.

If ou can't secure it online, try a walk up.

I seemed to be able to grab the one open ADR just a few minutes ago for 11/3. I tried all the nights around that to no avail. I would say to check back as people cancel and adjust things.

I was so happy as I really wasn't going to book it but when I saw a video of the inside I just had to go!! We aren't one for waiting in long lines for a lunch so I figured I would check and one ADR popped up for a 5:30 dinner which is kind of perfect!
