No longer going to disney!!!!

You've got me excited to watch the DVD again. I think I might watch it now!! I'm glad it finally came!!

Oh girl you have NO idea how long I've been waiting for this thing. The DVD made me almost want to add the water park option too...but with only 9 days and me wanting to see the parks so bad, I'm not sure if we'll have time. Maybe if we go next year we can spend time at the Water Parks :)

I debated on ading the WP, too, but I decided against it. Dh isn't much for swimming and the kids will be just as happy with the hotel pool. Besides, CSR's pool is pretty nice and probably way more relaxing than standing in lines for waterlides all day!

See that's the thing...I don't actually go on some of the slides---about 20 years ago, I nearly broke my foot on one of those slides at Wet N' Wild. This one you laid flat on your stomach (on a mat of course) with feet up. Well at the end my left foot hit the slide HARD..nearly broke it too. Since then I've pretty much steered clear. I just can't justify adding another $100 for the water park option and not going on hardly anything.

Ouch! I don't mind going underwater, but I hate being all disoriented. Also, although not as painful as your broken foot, slides hurt! You get banged all around! Not to mention, my mom "made" me go on Humunga Cowabunga at Typhoon Lagoon once. It was horrible. How many stories do you drop, straight down, before coming to a screeching halt in two inches of water?!? I thought I'd never get my suit out, kwim?:rotfl2: Yes, I think I'll stick with a pool side pina colada while my kids swim!:thumbsup2

I rode that too..Humunga Cowabunga--that was pretty fun actually but like I said earlier, I can't justify spending an extra $100 to ride along the Lazy River :)

First things first..I want to thank EVERYONE who has posted on my thread..you are the nicest people I have ever met!!

On that note--we watched the DVD and Oh my goodness!! It's SOOOO awesome. I'm thinking of watching it again this afternoon and again, and again and again. Last night I was watching Disney videos on youtube which is really cool to see too!!

Also--I'm not sure if I've said this but I LOVE writing--this is my biggest passion other than listening to music. I've been writing for several years now and am actually in the process of starting a new story..so I might not be on the boards very much. Just wanted you all to know ;)

Writing, eh? I can't believe you would do something that would take you away from disboards time. ;) Just kidding. Best of luck to you! I like to write too, when I have time and I know! When the muse hits, you must obey!!

Thank you so much...After watching Xanadu my muse is "speaking" to me and she's saying...WRITE!!! Write something good that will sell MILLIONS of copies. But you know me, I'll still be on here..I will always find time for the boards.

You'll just have to wait :)

Tonight my DW and I were talking about WDW and what kind of plans we want to make. And I think what we're going to do is wait for the EMH's to come out. From there we can kind of plan what we want to do. It's kind of hard to plan w/o EMH's. So for now, we can't really worry too much about that.

What I do know is that we've pretty much decided to drive instead of fly. But if gas continues to rise AGAIN then we might fly. :)

Just wanted to give you an update.

Or your Yahtzee playing time!!!
Hey Disneyfan71!

I hope you are finally feeling better. We always go in June, so I expect that the crowd level will be what we are used to. We always do fastpasses and now with our youngest DD being older, we can stay longer for EMH's.

I am feeling MUCH better now thank goodness. It's like all of a sudden it was gone. But thank you for the concern.

On that note I need to update!!!

Right now I'm not writing a novel but working on a screenplay--this is something I've wanted to do for some time and now am doing it. Of course I'll be here so don't worry about that.

Last night I was looking over our park maps (the ones I ordered) and devising some kind of plan--not so much down to the minute but some semblance of order :)

So I figured to keep my PTR interesting is, well ask what is your favorite WDW Restaurant? Mine would have to be Teppen Edo (sp) b/c of the atmosphere and the food (although it's been fourteen years) I still remember some of it!!! I'd like to know yours too.

i have none, since i've never been there...so i'm looking forward to reading the reviews of everyone else's! :flower:

Oh boy...Tony's...and the Luau! Another one of my favorites was the Concourse Steakhouse...RIP! :sad1:

I have a ton of favorites... I'm going to say Ohana!
