She said, "After a morning at DTD, we went back to Saratoga Springs and had lunch poolside from the...

"Everything was very fresh and good. We enjoyed the salad the most. For dessert we chose Mickey ice cream bars and sandwiches which we picked up after swimming and brought back to our freezer." ​

One more update was received from slk537 yesterday, this was both a snack and dinner update from Epcot.


She said, "In the afternoon we went to Epcot to see Gary Sinise at the Candlelight Processional - which was amazing!!! Before we got there, we stopped at Starbucks where I wanted to try the cherries jubilee mocha latte (decaf, light mocha, nf milk and no whip) instead of my usual."



"The CM left me a message on my cup based on the shirt I was wearing and it was a highlight (he had teased that he would put "Go Bears!" on it so this was a funny and happy surprise that confirms what I always thought - Steelers fans (which he said he was) are pretty awesome people!!"





"Afterwards we wandered through World Showcase and had some snacks. DS tried the bubblegum flavored (to us anyway) soda in Japan. This was the soda with the blue marble that causes the carbonation - it was a lot of fun."








"Then we stopped in France to get some snacks to go from...

"We picked the ham and cheese croissant, the Pissaladiere, the yogurt and berries mousse and the almond pastry."


















"We had the two savory snacks toasted and I asked for a bag to pack some to go. She also gave me a box which worked out beautifully. We shared most of the croissant sandwich which was very nice, tried about a quarter of the pissaladiere (which was fantastic!!) and packed the rest of it and everything else in the box."




"We finished touring World Showcase and then went to the Land to use Soarin' fast passes and have dinner at...

"DH and I shared the spicy cashew chicken with fried rice and tiramisu."










...and DS opted for the pork chop with veggies subbed for the cheesy mashed potatoes and no sauce."




"He likes his food very, very plain. He didn't want any dessert - wanted ice cream in the room later - so we also tried a key lime tart."





"DS thought his meal was dry ( which happens with no sauce, etc.) but the spicy cashew was very good. The tiramisu was okay and the key lime was very tart with a marshmallowy meringue. Would definitely have again."



"Stopped on the way out for one more snack...




"Back to my favorite for this one."


"We had some of the French snacks last night and for breakfast this morning and now we start over today on week two's QSP (didn't move rooms but new reservation started today)."​

"This was our first time having dinner there. It was very good, one of the best TS of the trip. In fact we needed a replacement for the 30th and went back."


"DH first plate was beef, turkey (white meat and much better than CP the day before), pepperoni, cheese, tomato mozzarella salad and cranberry sauce."






"2nd plate: ribs, green beans, corn, Mickey ravioli and mashed potatoes."





"My plate turkey and mashed potatoes with gravy, ribs, pasta salad, cheese, rice, and Mickeyroni and cheese."
