He said, "We had breakfast at Olivia's 2 days in a row...







...fortunately for me they have 3 different versions of eggs Benedict."



"Mine was Eggs Florentine which is eggs Benedict with spinach and tomato on the English muffin."







"Lee Ann had scrambled eggs with cheese, fried potatoes, crispy bacon, and gluten free bread."​

"She wanted a chili dog, but the chili wasn't gluten free, so she had a hot dog on a gluten free bun with cheese on top. It was broiled in the bun."





"I had the Southwest Salad with Chicken, it doesn't look like it has any chicken but it was farther down in the salad. It was not great and I'm usually easy to please."

He said, "Lee Ann and I had dinner in the Main Ballroom. I had the Potato Leek Soup (no pic) and the Braised Pork."




"The soup was very good, but I felt like everything else was too salty, even the rolls, if that's possible."



"Lee Ann had the Grilled Strip Steak with broccoli instead of green beans, unfortunately her steak was burnt."





"Disappointing meal in a beautiful restaurant, they did offer us a free dessert, but we passed."

"I started with the Declaration Salad with the Garlic Buttermilk Dressing."



"This was quite refreshing but huge."

"For my dessert I had the Johnny Appleseed Cake. This was pretty good but a bit strong on the cinnamon."

He said, "I had the Stacked Kouzzina breakfast which is poached eggs on sweet potato hash with Kalamata Olive toast, Artichoke spread and Chicken sausage."





"Lee Ann had the Spinach, Tomato, and Feta Scrambled Eggs minus the spinach and tomato with breakfast potatoes and bacon."




"She orders it this way because if you order the American plus cheese they charge extra for the cheese, but if you order the Spinach, tomato and Feta without the spinach and tomato they don't (charge for the cheese). Crazy, I know."​

Hi Bridgette,

Did you happen to notice if the bavarian cheesecake is still available as a dessert at the Biergarten?

Does anyone know? I know they removed it from the CS menu and that has me a bit concerned. We are supposed to go there in February (DH's request). I've been hearing about that cheesecake for months.

He said, "After having breakfast at the Wave, I headed to Hollywood Studios. I didn't have any planned meals, but leaving the park I stopped at:

"I was shocked to see they had the Carrot Cake Cookie Sandwiches up here, I thought they were unique to the Writers Stop. I guess Disney got the memo on how much people loved these things and decided to sell them in more than one place. I never had one until today, and I got to say I'm upset with myself for waiting so long."





"I took it back to the room to sit in the fridge for a while. I preferred something like this to be a bit cold, and not more or less at room temperature."



"Later in the evening I found my way back to the Magic Kingdom to dine at...

"I decided upon the French Onion Soup."



"It was delicious, I prefer a more beefy onion soup versus the sweet version so this was right up my alley."



"So much cheese!"




"For my entree I decided upon the Thyme Scented Pork Rack Chop with Au Gratin Macaroni, Seasonal Vegetables, and Red Wine Jus."



"This was one of the dishes that I've heard great things about, and it was great. The pork was moist and juicy, I barely used the Red Wine Jus because the pork was so moist and flavorful to begin with. The Au Gratin Macaroni was good all be it a little dry, though the top part was great, I love macaroni and cheese that has a crispy top crust. The vegetables were well vegetables, cooked perfectly not mushy not raw."



"The only thing left behind was the bone."



"Dessert now featured a new option in the Grey Stuff Cake Bar. Which is what I decided upon."



'It was just alright, the cake portion was a little dry, but the Grey Stuff topping was great. Part of me regretted not getting the Lemon Meringue or Strawberry Cheesecake."



"I thought overall the meal was good, though I think it's a tad overrated. As you can see, even in the ballroom the lighting is below par at best. Most of the tables around me were using the flashlight built into their iPhones to read the menu, and this wasn't even the West Wing. Even as an overrated choice, it's easily the best option in the Magic Kingdom for a sit down dinner."

"I've heard that during the busier times of the year they've been opening the Rose Gallery/Music Box Room to get more people in, and they sort of did that tonight, although there were only about 5 tables being used in there."​

"Lee finished work today, so in order to celebrate, we went for lunch at one of our favourite restaurants, the Bistro at One Devonshire Gardens, Glasgow."


"The bread service was a sea salt foccacia. This was good, and Lee enjoyed a second serving."





"First course was a parsnip and lemongrass soup. This was enjoyable but we would have preferred without the lemongrass."





"The main course we ordered was leg of duck with cassoulet of beans and parsnip purée."



"This was excellent, and just the right serving size for lunch!"



"The pre-dessert was a strawberry sorbet, nice and refreshing."





"We finished with sticky toffee pudding with clotted cream. The clotted cream was fantastic and really made the dessert."
