No hotels available...

Durng the week of February 26th-March 3rd. I've tried several off-resort hotels near Disney, and they're all booked. Weird, because as far as I know, none of the schools are out.

Anybody have a clue? Thanks!

This may have no effect now, but New Orleans and So. LA schools WERE out that week for Mardi Gras - I doubt they will be now...there is also something going on with ESPN, but I am not sure what, or what effect that would have on off-site hotels, if any.

I would recommend searching through tripadvisor.com. That way, you can check all the big providers like expedia, travelocity, orbitz, hotels.com, etc. all at once.

Since you'll be there for a week have you considered something like a condo? Check out www.windsorhillsrent.com . We were impressed enough that we'd chose a condo over a hotel room anytime, especially since they are about the same price.
