So only people that love Disney with all their heart and all their soul are allowed to post here? I thought everyone could post here whether they love or loathe Disney. I frequently knock Disney for valid reasons. I don't see the problem.
I still think we are all entitled to our opinions, don't you? And I will praise them when they do something good. Which, in my opinion is not all that often these days.

It's not a silly game, though it's interesting to see people make assertions with nothing to back it up.

I talked to people who would know, poked and prodded as much as I could, and the end result is being told what I stated.

Conversely, you've got a bunch of people who wont even say how they supposedly know this information that there is something coming. I think i'm well in my rights to question their supposed knowledge.

I guess it needs to be clarified that i was informed that something was going on in that area, was to happen, well before the plans were leaked. I didn't know what, but i knew the area was being looked at. I don't think i'm the only person on the internet who was given that sort of heads up.

No big shock there. Everyone can say that. That was stated and rumored since 20,000 Leagues closed and the land eventually filled in. Generally believed the ground had to settle for a couple years before construction could begin.

The whole point of this exercise is to get some people to start thinking. The World Showcase just happens to be an easy target.

Plain and simple no company owes it's customers a detail plan of everything they intent to do in the next 5 years.
Disney not saying anything makes them no different any any other company.

As you may have seen from some of the OP's previous posts, your statement is what sets you apart. A majority of the OP's posts tend to be designed to be inflammatory without valid reasons. I love a good debate, too, and will take the negative stance, because perfection doesn't exist (except for my wife!).

Ummm...no..not true at all. I will complain and praise when and where it is needed and deserved. However, certain posters do nothing but complain and stir the pot. I'm sure you are well aware of that, however.

Yes, I do believe it is.

Whatever you may think of the reports or those posting them, it has long been known that the statement about Animal Kingdom needing to close early because of the animals was - and remains - false. The park does see occasional nightime hours or special events, and certainly Disney appears (based on reasonably credible rumors) to have plans for evening events and keping the park open later (Rivers of Light parade, for instance). It doesn't have to close early, but that spin sounds so much better than admitting you built a half-done park with no reason for people to stay into the evening.

It has also been reported previously that in many respects Disney (at least in certain levels) doesn't completely understand World Showcase, seeing it more as a shopping and dining venue with a fireworks show, rather than a theme park land with attractions and rides. Even if one of the existing expansion plans were greenlit tomorrow, the "nothing new for World Showcase" statement has essentially been correct since Norway opened.

I don't know who any of these posters are, but the gist of what has been posted is factual.

They asked what country guests liked the most, which one the least, and what country the guests would like to see added. It may mean nothing but I did find it interesting that Disney would do this if there is nothing down the road.

With the amount of time we spend at WDW, and all it's different venues, we have run into the "survey takers" at all the parks, and at that, many times. That would include WS, and these surveys are done multiple times per park per year. So you never know what their reasons are for these many, many surveys,,,,,
