Wow! Thanks! It seems most people think it won't work....this is hopeful! We just did this exact thing in September. Our ADR was 8am, but they were taking pretty much everyone in the 8-8:20ish window at the same time for seating. We met every princess, ate all the food and our kids did the princess parade and we were out the door in plenty of time. The RD crowd was stampeding towards the line, but we jumped in as we saw them coming. We were off the ride by 9:13am. We did ask for our check as soon as we sat down, so it was settled and we could leave as soon as the kids did the princess parade. It worked out just fine!
I don't exactly want to rush an expensibe meal. But I would like to get on Frozen without waiting 2 hours and not sure if there is a better way?? Do you have another suggestion? Or would you do the meal, take your time, and just suck it up and stand in the long line? Why would you want to rush a very expensive meal?
The Akershus meal is not designed to be a Frozen Ride Dinner Package. The FastPass system is there's for that purpose.I don't exactly want to rush an expensibe meal. I just think it feels like "gaming the system" - plus it's a lot of money for one ride that is not even meant to be that amazing.

I have absolutely no idea how it's gaming the system. Perhaps if the reservation was made and they didn't turn up at all. However I don't see the issue at all to them doing the meal and then trying to get the ride in.
