I mean, I get that the popularity is slowing from the crush of 2014-2015, but still.... A lot of us here thought they'd be tier 1....

Guess things could change in the future though if they are once again sporting 4 hour lines....

Totally fine with that - going straight standby will be WAY less time than if there was FP+.

Just look at POTC pre and post FP; the wait times doubled!

It is an interesting case study on if FP is the root of all evils. My money is on it makes no difference. Lines are largely governed by a microeconomic judgment by each person who walks up and looks at the line. Whether there is a fast pass line is irrelevant. When it is new, people will likely drive it to about 90 minutes before most people walk up and say "sorry, no way." Over time that will drop to a steady state of 20-40 minutes depending on crowd level. Just my guess.

what do you mean by "3 rooms". (i've never met A&E at MK so i don't really know how it worked there).
are you saying there will be 3 rooms with both Anna and Elsa in each room?
or will there be a room for Anna, a room for Elsa, and a room for another character?
i'm just thinking if A&E are in each of the 3 rooms that could confuse children. "hey kids no matter what room you walk into you'll meet Anna and Elsa".

in my experience that has not been the case with extremely popular attractions.
and i think that is because not everyone goes to WDW every 6 months or every year so there are many many people that have never been on TSMM or 7DMT or met A&E so the lines will continue to be very long.

Three rooms each a different pair of A&E. This is not advertised to the people in line and CMs will direct them where to go. The kids (and most of the adults) have no clue there is more than one A&E. They use this method for popular meet and greets.

Most characters that you meet have a doppleganger in another room at the time you are meeting them...Ariel, Mickey, the princesses in fairy tale hall are not 'one of a kind'...the greeter takes you from the front of a line to a door/room...you cannot see the door/room from where the line is stopped at the rope so you don't know that the person before you went to a different room than you...
