Yes, and so fun to sing along to in between trips and so very far away from Disney World. I think Brooklynn knows every word and every note to it! Disney World CD's are a great souvenir to bring home.

Wed Sept 22nd

Today was Girl's Choice Day. I let them sleep in (930a) and they chose to go to Epcot. We got FP for TT and headed to Inovations. Did a sotrm game and watched a safety film. Rode TT but went slow around the curve for some reason. Not as exciting...Had lunch at the Electric Umbrella-not bad for CS. Went over to the Land to see if we could get FP's for Soarin. Return was to late so we went and rode Nemo. Also took these cute pics

After Nemo we headed back to the hotel for a swim. Took showers and headed to the MK for our dinner ressie at the Plaza.

Our dinner at the Plaza was ok. The server was not so friendly and the place was pretty busy. The ice cream was the best part!

We then hit the carousel and HM. I had sent a text to Queen cause I thought they might be in MK for the night. They were!! We went and met them for Wishes and the Parade. Was great to see them again. Here are a few parade pics

It was a fun parade but I think I like Spectro better. We made our way to the exit and caught the monorail back to CR. Our last full day was a fun one.

I have one more update from our last day which I hope to do tonight. We leave for our Dec trip in less than 2 weeks and I am so not ready. I am on the fence on whether to do another TR. Hubby is getting me a new camera lens and we will be there for 10 days....Dunno. Thanks all who stuck with me.

I've heard good and bad but enough that I would just eat somewhere else. Glad to hear the ice cream was good though!

Thurs Sep 23rd

I woke the girls at 845a and we made our way to the lobby to check in for our flight. We then caught a bus to DTD. Cayley was looking for a Jessie shirt-could not find one in her size I did find some for Christmas We did find 2 very cute Minnie bling shirts and Avery bought herself a Minnie carry on bag. We went to lunch at EOS. Somehow they said I was checked out of the hotel and could not use my dining credits. I thought they were good until midnight and I don't remember checking out. I asked to talk to someone but they also said no go. Oh well, the dining credit drama continues...

Caught a bud back to get on the UnMagical Express. Had Mc D's at the airport and our flight left on time!! Girls were great until the descent where Ms C started whining... We landed in Phx and I handed the girlies off to Daddy for some quality time. My quality time consisted of a hot shower and my bed

Final Thoughts

This was our first Girl's Only trip. Overall it went very well as far as the girls and I going on our own. There were moments of drama but they behaved very well most of the time. I would do it again and it may happen this spring.

The biggest highlight of the trip was the Diser's I met. WE all enjoyed our time so much with Kathy and Mark and Queen and Jas. They are all wonderful, caring, helpful people who I would love to see again

The lowlight of the trip was our hotel. There was not one major thing just a series of unfortunate events. Since we are DVC owners we will probaly not stay there again. The girls and I are doing 2 night at POP on an AP rate in 11 days. I am crossing my fingers it goes well.

I really like going in the fall and am happy to be planning another trip next Sep/Oct with some Dis Buddies.

Me again

Up next for us is our Christmas Trip. The girls and I leave on Dec 16th and do 2 nights at POP before transferring to a studio-savanna view at Kidani. This is our "Home" and we are thrilled to be staying there during this most magical time of the year. Jeff arrives on Dec 22nd and we transfer to a 1 bedroom-savanna view. Figured we could use the extra space and it was our holiday gift to eachother.

We are currently waiting on ROFR from Disney on 100 points at AKV. There are 50 points that must be used by April 1st. If we pass, the girls and I will take a short trip over Avery's spring break in March. We are currently at SSR but waitlisted for BLT.

Next big trip is next Sep/Oct during which I will be running a 5k, girls will be doing a fun run and Jeff will be hitting up the F&W festival. Bunch of us are plannig on going-Leanne, Wendy, Nickie, Steph..all those people who are never on here anymore We are booked at AKV in a savanna view studio but hope to transfer to BC in a 1bd if we get the extra points.

Assuming you put a credit card on file upon checking in, that will auto"magically" check you out and you get the paperwork on your door that morning. You are able to use the DDP up until midnight. We've done split stays before with the DDP and will use it the following day after having check out of one resort and into another. That is drama there!

We'll be doing that this week with POP one night and WL. Our POP stay will be the QS DDP of which we'll use 1 QS meal the following day after checking out of POP. I'll let you know what happens!

My quality time consisted of a hot shower and my bed

It seems a little weird seeing the girls in shorts and short sleeves, along with looking at the July pictures I've been putting up, as it has been in the low 30's here today with snow flurries and a predicted overnight temperature of 18.

A hot shower and bed sounds perfect at the end of a Disney trip.

Ah ha, credit card on file, thats how I was checked out. That had not happened on other trips...The girls and I will not do the DP on our POP stay. We will at AKV but only for the 4 nights then will have to do it again when Hubby arrives. We are changing room size not resorts so hopefully it will work out. Please let me know how it works out for you!!

Ack on ur weather It was 76 degrees here today I was ready not to be the parent in charge. I agree on the girls trips. We like to be there longer so I think having Jeff come out later will work well. And a few of these always helps. You guys are defintely on our list of Diser's we want to meet

We are so excited!! Santa is going tocome to both DW and home. Hubby and I are going to sort all the gifts tonight and decide which is from Santa and us. Which can get packed and brought later by him and which he can put out here. I was all done shopping until TRU sent out new deals of the deal for tomorrow. It should be fun.
