No need for sarcastic comments re Disney exhibits I should avoid, etc.

and your quote: "We have not drunk the kool-aid of "diversity" to accept inappropriate relationships." is not sarcastic????

I think we can just agree to disagree here Joe. Everyone has the schedule of when Gay Days happen. Whether you decide you want to go then or not is up to you.

I think it's best we get back to the topic at hand, mainly the fact that Mr. Disney will be committing a total fashion sin: Red with lime green?????

I'll be there beginning June 4th and yes, I also plan around the days because I don't want to be :crowded:

Hello again Joe! :) In the interest of having some actual advice on here before this thread is closed, I won't fan the flamers. :scratchin That said, I trust I will be (nearly) alone in this position. Have fun! :listen:

I appreciate the comments that are civil.

However, if you disagree, there is no need to bring up the KKK.

I simply do not condone the homosexual lifestyle. God loves all of us, but does not condone our sins. Parents love their children, but do not condone their sins. The Bible is clear on the matter - no private interpetation needed.
Hey, we haven't even got to the bi-sexuals.

I do not want teachers telling my children that is ok to be gay. No wonder homeschooling is on the rise. (No, I don't think anyone was born gay.) God and I want what's best for my children and everyone's children.

I'm glad everyone can enjoy Disney, but my family and I will not "celebrate"
Gay Days.

Joe this thread NEVER started about "celebrating" Gay Days. YOU are the one that kept bringing in the OFF TOPIC comments and you just listed off a ton more.

Why not go back to chicagoland and leave the rest of us in this thread alone. We were ALL having a civil discussion about Deb's question concerning CROWD SIZE.

I for one am at the point that I would vote for having this thread CLOSED so that Joe does not continue to have his pulpit to speak from. If he wants to speak on homosexualty and HIS beliefs, then he should start his OWN thread.

He is using this thread as his personal pulpit now, which is SOOOOO off topic.
:sad2: :sad2: :sad2: :sad2: :sad2: :sad2:

Deb in IA, what do you think? Others?

I think Joe Epcot is a TROLL. I think he wants to get this thread closed because up until he came in it was a good discussion about crowd issues and not a gay bashing discussion. I say ignore the troll.

Well, despite my courteousy, I'm clearly not Joe's biggest fan. But I honestly don't think his original intention was to bash anyone. He probably just feels very strongly on the issue of homosexuality, as do many others on the DIS. But I do agree that this thread could be closed, as it's apparent that Deb won't be getting any further advice. Deb, it's your post. Do you agree it should be closed? If so, you just need to report it...

I second that Mr. D. I think this thread should be closed. The information has been given and we are grown adults who can make our own judgement regarding crowd level and whether we want to go or not.

At a time like this, I'm reminded of these lines from Vegas Vacation :

"She's gonna break a lot of hearts..."
"...She's gonna break something." :rotfl2:

I do like the colors.

This discussion is easier, and I'm not a troll.
I still vote that we have this thread closed.

Deb in IA asked about crowd sizes. I think she got her questions FULLY answered prior to today's OFF TOPIC commentaries about PERSONAL BELIEFS.

Deb, I look forward to June 4th, when I meet you in person. I have relatives that live in Iowa somewhere.....so you MUST be good people

I don't think anyone is asking you to.

This thread has over 3000 views and over 90 posts. Good grief. Moving on....

I guess I see 26 posts and he comes in swinging with a line like "kool-aid of diversity" and I think troll, but I would agree the thread has probably out-lived its usefulness.

Just out of curiosity....what happens if we do not believe in your "bible"???? (no that I do or do not) This was a thread about crowd sizes and to be honest I really do not appreciate being "preached" to any more than you appreciate gay days! And if you think that homeschooling is going to keep your child from becoming gay you have a big surprise coming your way! :teeth:

Sorry...this thread finally got my goat whether the intent to be cruel was there or not!

Hi ya'll,
This thread hits close to home this week. Some of the kids at our local university have started an alliance club for straights and gays. Well somehow this group from Kansas found out about it. They came down here on Sunday and picketed our churches,Catholic,Episcopalian,Presbyterian. We happen to attend the Catholic church-we were greeted by signs saying Pope John Paul was in hell. This is the kind of behavior intolerance breeds. Its a shame that a group like this can take a lovely idea - promoting understanding - and turn into a hate filled trashy excuse for mean behavior. Like my grandma said we should all play pretty.

My?? Bible. There's only one Bible.

Not home schooled. My 2 daughters will not "become" gay. They would not make this lifestyle choice.

I missed way at the beginning of the thread that someone had requested that this not turn into this type of discussion. For missing this, I apologize. I did not mean to hijack this thread, BUT some early (page 2) posters thought "gay days" would be an "opportunity" for children to see "diversity," which I strongly disagree with (obviously).

This is no longer a helpful trip planning thread , so I'm going to close it now.

Katholyn
