No Fast Pass Plus....Big Mistake?

I don't want to push this but that just doesn't sound right. I can go in with my ticket number now and book fp for tomorrow, not linked to any stay at all. I think fp is a privilege you're paying for, and even without any stay at all you can book 30 days before your stay starts and you're well within this window. I would be calling Disney to get it straightened out.
