No Fantasmic January 24, 25, & 26?

I will be at WDW during that time and was just wondering what was up?

Saw that too. Fortunatly it only affects our last night so we'll make sure to catch the show earlier in our stay. I wonder if it will affect the crowds at fantasmic (and MGM overall) on the days before and after the closure.

Yes - I will definitely plan to catch Fantasmic earlier in my stay! I bet the night shows at MK and Epcot will be packed on those nights.

Does anyone know the reason for the closure?

Fantasmic was closed in January 2004 on or about those same days for refurbishment. They ended up reopening earlier than was scheduled, having completed the refurbishment early.
