No Fantasmic Dinner Packages May 20-21!

I just called Disney Dining and they were all sold out for May 21 and only had a 3:50 pm for the Brown Derby on Friday. I was actually hoping that they had released later dining times by now. I really want to go to Mama Melrose's, but if I can't get it, I think that I'll skip Fantasmic this year. Now, if I skipped the package, what time would I have to get to the stadium for a decent seat if the show starts at 9:00 pm.....7:30?

Later times should open up 3-4 weeks in advance. Keep trying!

I have a PS 4PM on Mon May 16 and I called a few days ago to see about changing it. The CM told me to call back towards the end of this month. I'm still going to call next week starting.

I just called and they are booked the whole week (through May 26) at H&V and Mama Melrose. I'm going to keep trying, too. Last year on a whim I called the night before from our hotel and got a 4:30 at H&V. When we got to H&V for dinner they were taking PS at the door and asking patrons if they wanted the Fantasmic! dinner package. What gives with that? And any opinions as to whether I may get lucky again this year? We really want to see Fantasmic!...We really don't want to stand in line.

I called yesterday to get H & V between 2nd & 13th May & was told that they had no availability in any of the 3 restaurants!

D'you think it's worth keeping on calling - we go 3 weeks on Monday. Perhaps I should call Monday morning!

Yes, I would keep trying. I know one time when I was trying for later times, they didnt open them up until exactly 3 weeks before the date I was trying for.

Me too! Exactly 30 days out- Called in AM (nothing), but at 9 pm had my choice of later times, and restaurants.

There are still no openings for the dates I want the 1st week of May for the dinner package. I call every day now just to check. I'm not quite at 21 days out for the date I want - more like 24. I really thought they'd open up more by now!

Me too! I'm going solo in May and almost decided I didn't need to book the Fantasmic Pkg, but hate waiting in line, so did so. Besides I wanted to try Mamma Melrose's anyway. I made all my PS 90 days out and the latest I could get for the Fantasmic Pkg was 4:30pm (on Thursday May 19th). I called a few days ago to see if later seatings had opened up and was told no.

I also called that week trying to get a PS for Rose & Crown for around 7:30pm, hoping for a patio table to view Illuminations. I tried for three different days that week, but apparently everyone else had the same idea, because all three days I was offered either an 8:15pm or a 7:10pm. I finally took a 7:10pm on Tues May 17th. It looks like that week may be busier than usual!

I'm in the same boat too. I tried this week for early May PS (later times) but still nothing. The CM said the latest was 5ish, but the restraurant is open until 9:30PM (50sPT). I'll keep trying. I have about 4 PS that I want to move to later slots, but do have the latest PS at this moment. There is no way I would go this year during the first 2 weeks of May without PS--it's going to be wild!

The big highlight of our trip this year, esp. for DS9, is the Star Wars Weekend events. It's been my understanding that the events usually go from 9-6, so I didn't want an "early" PS and miss any SW things and I couldn't get any "later" Fantasmic packages PS's. I'll have to keep my fingers crossed!

Keep calling if you want later times.

We are going to last week of April & had 4:20 PS at Mama Melrose (way to early to eat dinner for our party).

I called the first week of April & got a 6:30pm PS instead.
