No Expiration Tickets

My husband I will only be able to go to Disney one day this coming January. To get the most for my money I was thinking about purchasing a multi day ticket with no expiration. Does anyone know if more than one person can use the same ticket? For example, if I was to use the ticket this January can I then have my sister use it 2 years from now?

Not anymore. You have to do a finger scan each time you enter a park. Your particular card is 'imprinted' (for lack of a better word) with your finger biometrics.

No, the tickets are not transferable. When you use it you will have to insert your fingers in the biometric scanner and the ticket will then be "tagged" to you and you alone. If someone else tried to use it it would be rejected as the finger scan would not match.

What about the name on the back? I purchased two tix, one for DD and one for DD's boyfriend. Both tix have my last name on the back. DD's boyfriend will be ok even though my name is on the back as long as he is the first one to use the ticket?

You should be fine. I have heard of families having an issue with different members grabbing the wrong pass and being rejected at the turnstyle!! So, they try to put each person's name on their pass.

Yeah, he will be fine as long as he is the only one to use it.

I would suggest putting at least the first initial of each person, or the first name of the person using the cards though. That way each each person knows their card should they get mixed up.

Ok, thanks. DD has a 10 day and her BF has a 3 day and the characters are different so they should be fine. (DD's BFriend's has Goofy on it )
