No Evening Magic Hours for Memorial Day Weekend and Fastpass questions

Hi,

We booked a last minute weekend trip for the opening of Pandora which yes, I adore the movie upon which it is based. But I am confused by three things:

1. While I see early magic hour during our dates 5/26-5/29, I don't see any evening magic hours. Are they waiting later to release or just not happening? Any ideas? AK is open until 11 but that's for all and expect to be packed. We know that going in but would be nice to "hop" to another park for evening hours.

2. When does fast pass open for our dates? Is it 26th or 25th? I know it's now 30 days out and 7 am now. Just don't want to miss as I think they will go quick

3. River of Lights show currently has no dining packages. Guessing we waited too late as we just confirmed plans a couple weeks ago. If I use FP for this, do the other 2 used choices open up for use in the day will using our 3rd selection on this use us up for the day? While I hate that idea, it looks like open seating is low and that weekend will be jammed.

Disney has been very late in releasing and updating hours. Expect changes approx 30 days or so prior to your trip.

I'm guessing you're onsite so it's actually 60 days out for booking FP's. For a check in on 5/26 you can reserve your FP's starting on 3/27/17. I think it's a little doubtful they'll have FP's for Pandora at that point - you'll likely have to keep checking to see if and when they release them.

ROL - I'm a little confused by your question but you'll get up to 3 FP's at AKV should you wish. You may use one for ROL and the other 2 may be used for any of the other attractions or shows that offer FP lines.

1. Interesting, seems that info used to be out much earlier. Any ideas on the changes?

2. Does the booking window not open until you are within 60 days? I currently only see 30 days out.

3. ROL - do you have to use all 3 fastpass selections before trying for new? I thought you could get more once you "used" the ones you made. Or if you use 1 of 3, do you now have another open pending availability?

I can't help with what the changes might end up being but I'd bet they'll add evening EMH's to at least MK and Epcot.

You won't be able to see further than 30 days out until you hit the 60 day mark. You have to have the reservation linked to your MDE account and have valid admission tickets.

You do have to use (or let expire) the first 3 FP's before you can get a 4th. If your 3rd one is going to be in the evening then you could not book another until you have tapped to use that. With an 11 PM closing time I guess there's a chance there might be something but I wouldn't count on it. It's not a rolling 3 FP's - ie once you use 1 you get a new 3rd one - they all must be gone to get more.

1 This is why we only booked 2 day base tickets to begin with until we knew hours. We will upgrade later if EMH is offered. thanks
2 Thank you, I wasn't sure with all the changes. We linked up everything w/ help of DVC member services whom we bought tickets from and gave us number and helped link. First time using them for tickets and how much more awesome than calling regular ticket number. Seven years into membership and still learning new things.
3 Understood but kind of not fun it doesn't roll since ROL is so late but w/ out fastpass thinking you will need to line up hours ahead for seating so will just live with other lines

Keep watching for ROL packages. Cancels do happen at 60 days, 45 days and 30 days. This would allow you to plan different FP.
