No Easter greetings from Google??

I love checking Google on holidays, etc. to see the clever pictures they come up with but NOTHING for Easter??

I noticed that, too, and was disappointed.

They'll have something cute for Beatrix Potter's birthday, for instance.

I wasn't expecting a crucifix with a chalice and paten... but even non-Christians observe the day in a secular way with bunnies and eggs.

It just felt like their silence was deafening.

Do they do other religious holidays? Hanukkah or Ramadan for example? I really thought they did. They ought to just do all the holidays.

See, that is what is so sad. I would not be the least offended to see a Menorah, for example, at the start of Hanukkah.

Thanksgiving can be considered religious too- exactly WHO are we giving thanks to?

We aren't religious- the holidays can be celebrated without the religious aspect.

Of course they can...my point was that Saint Patrick's Day is a religious holiday, just as Easter is. There is no getting around that. So why is it okay to do stuff on the webpage for one but not the other? Who decides which one is offensive as being too religious?

Google should either do stuff for all of the holidays or none.
