No discounts on suites?!!

For our upcoming Xmas trip, I reserved 3 rooms at YC concierge. So I was trying to figure out if I can get a suite under the AP rate so that I don't need this many rooms.

When I called this morning, I was told that there is no discount on WDW resort suites, only rack rate.

Is this right?

Yes, that's true, they do not discount any of the suites on property. Full price only!

One thing....discounts are often offered on junior suites and/or deluxe rooms-I've seen AP rates, codes, etc. for Junior Suites at WL and YC. The discounts are few and far between, though.

At YC, the Junior Suites come with concierge service.

Have you thought about booking 2 junior suites instead of 3 concierge rooms?

Did you get a good price on the 3 concierge rooms?

Do you know if you can use a Disney Club discount on suites? We have a one bedroom suite at AKL and am not sure if we got it for rack rate or a DC discount. (In the same phone call I was using the DC to renew our APs.)
We are only staying there one night before we go over to the Poly for the week. (We wanted to be able to do the Sunrise Safari, and experience the AKL concierge.)

Even at rack rates the suites are usually more than twice as expensive as two rooms, so even if tehy discounted them the same as they do the rooms, it would likely still cost more.

If you have a large group, you might want to consider renting points for a DVC unit (or two). This will give you a lot more room, a washer and dryer in the villa, a jacuzzi tub, and more!

I am a DVC member and I originally booked 2 2-br at BWV. However, because of the weekend nights (100 pts per unit per night, 400 pts for the 12/26 and 12/27) since my families moved up their schedules, I rented out my reservations and decided to stay at YC concierge instead.
