no discounts for me :(

after reading others posts about calling and getting discounts I tried today to call and ask if I had any pins for sept 2012 and she said oh you do have a pin on your name for room and tickets. She did not say an amount and then asked what hotel and I said Animal Kingdom Lodge (even though we will probably stay mod!) and how many days tickets and if we wanted dining etc.. so got that all set up and then said oh I don't have any availability for that pin at the animal kingdom, but I can do the coronado. So I said ok sure lets check that and so she entered some more stuff and then said let me put you on hold (and i waited and listened two two whole really annoying donald duck / fake mexican loud songs which I'm guessing is linked to coronado ?)

and then she comes back and says the pin is for upgrades to park hopper and waterpark tickets only not and my price is x dollars ... and that was about $300 more then the price I got online for a day longer tickets with hoppers! (I have five saved vacations so I was looking at them while on the phone!)

thanks disney... for... charging me more?!?!?

she asked if i would like to book and i said no i'll wait for something better but thanks!

any chance this will kick um a little to send me something better?!?!?

I called and had absolutely nothing associated with my name. I am trying to wait to book to see if anything comes out, but it's not looking good!!!

I would love a pin with something, but nothing coming my way either. Really need to make it feasible for next year. I'm guessing they are trying to wean the guests off all the discounts as the economy slooooowwwwllly recovers. If they don't hit the occupancies they want we will most likely see the pins and discounts come back. I say we try to hold out as long as possible to put a little pressure on them when they see low numbers. Worth a try!
