No dedicated Halloween or Christmas parade!

Just looked at dlrpmagic.com and apparently the 'Once Upon a Dream' parade will continue through these times. Have a look here.

That's fantastic news - to be at DLRP during the Halloween season but still get to see the new parade is the best news I've heard in ages - yahooo!

I'm pretty pleased about it myself as the 'Villains parade' isn't exactly DD's idea of a magical parade. There are likely to be added sections to the parade though to add that Halloween/Xmas feel.

I was really pleased when I read about this too because although I would love to see the Villains parade I'd much rather see the new Once Upon a Dream one!

I can't post urls (still) but I did do a little mov file of the parade and such. Yes, it's a home family movies, but the song is from the parade and it has some of the parade footage. (PM if you'd like to see it)

The new Parade is awesome! We saw the Princesses parade 3 weeks before, and after Anaheim, I wasn't terribly impressed. The Once Upon a Dream Parade is much better!!

Much as I liked the music for the Halloween parade I'm always surprised that they didn't use 'This is Halloween' from Nightmare Before Xmas' It would make a great parade song I think

They use that during the Halloween Cavalcade.

I'd imagine they like to have original songs for the parades, I know I for one love to hear what they come up with for new parades and I'd be disappointed to hear a song I already knew from elsewhere.

im kinda upset, im planning on going at xmas and really wanted to see the xmas parade.
ie already een the once upon a dream parade, and its not that i didnt LOVE it but i was realy looking foward to seeing the xmas one!! i hope they make it really nice and xmassy! xxx

TBH the Xmas parade was only ever the normal princess parade to different music: 'Chant c'est Noel'. They just put the characters in different dresses, decorated the floats and added Father Xmas at the back and hey presto: the Xmas parade! Not really all that inspiring.

i'm going at xmas too but im really excited as ive seen the christmas parade at least 5 times, and as much as i love it i reeeeeally want to see the new one!!
i have heard tho that there will still be christmas elements and decorations in it, and also father christmas will still be in the float. i've got a lovely photo of him from last time we went, and hes looking straight up at me when he's waving!! (we were on the railway station balcony)
im soooo excited and i have to wait 6 months!!

I went on a tour last week and the CM told me that although the parade will continue through the 15th year extra elements will be added for the different seasons. .

I love chante cest noel too !
