No DDP for 2021?

Color me simple, but I cannot see how to add a dining plan to a holiday for next year? I've been looking everywhere today.

Currently Disney isn't offering the dining plan.

All Dining plans have been canceled until Sept 26,2021. They *might* reinstate the plans sometime next year, but I imagine a lot of that will be dependent on the state of indoor dining. It's just not worth offering the dining plan when many of the locations that people booked with dining credits are closed and don't have a reopening date.

I have a DP bought from a TA for December next year & they were offering them at Disney as well, so it does seem you were at least able to get them for a while after those September 2021 dates.

You could buy them until removed from sale, if not brought back they will almost certainly remove them from bookings at some point. No way they’ll have a few with and most not able to have them.

December next year is a long way off. It could return. I dont see why they still can't be used and utilise mobile ordering. People have got to eat & will have to queue somewhere for food. Its just another contactless way to pay.

I think they were removed because there were too many dining credit to the number of customers they could serve. Can you imagine the anger when clients say you sold me something I’ve not been able to use?

i get next Dec is a long way off. My gut is the dining plan could be back by then, but it is an if and Disney in this respect has done the cautious thing.

Oh goodness! I hope they do. That is encouraging news. To bring them back.
