No Day But Today-A Third Installment of TigerCheer2009's Progress so Come On In!

I absolutely HATE days like you had yesterday! I'm glad it's over for you!!

ColdStone Creamery Smoothies???? Sounds WONDERFUL!!!! That place is SO dangerous, though!

sounds like today has been much better. Have a great tomorrow!

Hey Julie!! The Like It strawberry bananza is only 350 calories and it is delicious. Their Berry Trinity has about 290 and can be made with soy (in your journal sometimes you mention it) I don't care for their sorbet (Maggie Moos beats their sorbet with a sharp stick every time for me) but I found their smoothies to be thick, fruity and just too good. I can see why people have designer drink fixes! *Those days like I had yesterday are desert days-nothing good to eat in a 50 mile radius. With proper thinking, I would have planned ahead for it!*

Dinner was good. Somebody (*cough* ME! *cough*) did not get their snack today, so dinner was quite an adventure. I loaded up mashed potatoes (with cheese) I'd venture to say 1.5 cups but I didn't measure because I was wolfhungry. Some chicken (I'd say about 1/10 of a roasted chicken) was also included. I have extra calories that I'm accounting for for the cheese and Tater Tots (not sure how many tots are in 3 ounces). I also found the cinnamon donuts I was trying to ignore but I only had 6 and they were the bitty donuts.

Tomorrow I'm doing cardio AND a TM! Yay yay yay for early dismissal! Maybe a Cold Stone run if I feel especially good :) I could only wish. Those smoothies are the stuff my dreams are made of, especially since I don't eat chocolate. It is a little late for me to exercise tonight or else I won't be able to sleep. I do think I'll rack up 20-10-5 and gravity splits, though (20-10-5 are crunches on the exercise ball). I haven't sat on that thing in a while.

I should get going. See you all!

Hi Jen,

You did a great job during your church's Famine! 30 hours is a long time to go without food and that is great that you did it for a worthy cause.:goodvibes

I got the FIRM Cardio Mix DVD last week and I like it. The segments are a bit longer than I am used to with FIRM videos, but it goes by pretty quick. Thanks for recommending it!:thumbsup2

Hope you have a great day today!

~Tracy

P.S. What did you decide to do about Kalahari? We're heading out there tomorrow.:woohoo:

It's good to see you put the bad day behind you. Sometimes we all are stuck with fast food choices. Have you tried the McDonald's salads? They are pretty good, I love the bacon ranch with grilled chicken and the low-fat viniagrette dressing...

I love all smoothies, but I can guarantee if I am in Cold Stone Creamery, I won't be getting one of those, I'd be all about the cheesecake ice cream!!!

Tracy-Glad you liked the Cardio DVD. I'm trying to see if I can switch with another person. I am bound and determined to go.

Amy-I haven't tried the salads yet. I thought it was too early to get a salad-but it would have been better than a sandwich! I'll try one next time we're there.

Today was good.

B: 1 cup mashed potatoes and cheese
L: 1/2 of a salad with chicken and cheese and one small container of ranch (think large takeout container full of salad). It was actually very good. I'm getting one tomorrow.

I walked to the pharmacy to pick up a couple of cards. :)

Hi Jen
Sorry you had a bad food day, but at least it was really only one day & well done you for getting straight back on track :)
I'm sure your workout tomorrow will make those calories dissapear ;)

Hey all! Costume fitting was today-all of us ended up with horrifying costumes. I almost got stuck in a corseted one, except I couldn't get it on. We ate at Arby's (I thought ahead and measured out pretzel sticks to eat on the bus-I ate about 12) and I ate 1/2 a medium roast beef sandwich, 1/2 a medium fry, and water. I also ate some apple dippers from McDonalds.

School is going well. Tomorrow we have late practice, so I'm hoping to get some TM time in.

Hi Jen
Sorry you dont like the costumes!
Hope you got time for the TM :)
Have a fun weekend

good morning! I had a sleepover with two good friends last night (I needed it :)) and play practice from 3 to 5 (so late dinner and no snack)

I am down 2 pounds this AM though, so thumbs up!! I'm now at 206. I keep thinking I'm going to have a dramatic loss when I'm just going to wake up and all of it will be GONE! 2 lbs/week is healthy. It's fine. I have to keep telling myself that because I see all of these pills and products that are harmful to me. This is what's best. It took some time to get this on and will take some time to get it off.

I did some TM time last night (and after 2 min, it pooped out) and I went out and walked for a total of 26 minutes, 18 seconds.

Hey Tracey! Thanks for popping in :)

B: 1 pear, 7 silver dollar pancakes

:cool1:  :woohoo: :cheer2: :yay:
Well done on the 2 lb loss
Thats definatley a good steady loss, it can be frustrating wanting more to come off, but think in 1 month you could loose 8lb's :goodvibes
Keep up the good work

Hey there Tracey! Thanks for the support.

Last night we went out to dinner at Ruby Tuesday's and I didn't do too badly. I ordered the petite sirloin, mashed cauliflower and green beans (that tasted like rubber rain boots) and was extremely gut popping full. It was between that and a chicken salad but I knew the steak meal would fill me more.

I went to church today and the reading talked about "why waste your money on this that isn't really food?" I'll find the bulletin later and fill it in more, but I thought it was fitting!

I, in a stroke of something (it was between genius and insanity-I'll call in Jensanity because it fits)...Jensanity, signed up for the March Exercise Madness! I'm busy but it will help I know.

I took at 23 minute walk (7 of that 23 involved me coming home from youth group), danced 7 minutes and did 32 minutes of yoga! I came in late but plan to finish strong!

Breakfast was a PB and J on wheat and an apple. Lunch consisted of 3 high calorie chicken tenders and 9 tater tots. Snack was an apple and a pear. Dinner was hamburger helper Italian Basil Penne, strawberries and bananas, and one small slice of chicken lasagna (I made lasagna for a friend and made too much...theirs is much better...theirs is beef taco lasagna) that I picked the chicken and the noodles out of.

:grouphug: :thumbsup2 :grouphug: :beach: :artist: :joker:

2 lbs gone is GOOD!!!!!!

What play are you doing? (Have I asked? Have I missed it? Am I losing my mind? - you Don't have to answer all of those!!)

You did really well at Ruby Tuesday's.

Have a good week this week!

We're doing Once Upon a Mattress and the show is St. Patrick's Day weekend. As I go up in grade level, I go up on "amount of lines to be had" which means I actually have to learn them! I get a small line in a song, and 5 or 6 lines scattered. Plus I get to giggle really loudly (and I'm VERY good at that!) You didn't miss it, I did and yes, I'm losing my mind. Yours is probably safe and intact, but I left mine on the pillow this morning and forgot to get it.:upsidedow

Thanks for stopping in Julie (and a major thanks for running the March Exercise Challenge!! I need to get my behind in some kind of shape! :))

Hi Jen
I hope you meet the March challenge :)
Food as always looks great :)
Have a great week :)

:p Julie! Thanks for the support Tracey!

Today I walked to school 1 time and came back 2 times (ride to school). We ran the entire play which includes about 10 minutes of dancing and lots of moving.

B: 2 scrambled eggs with 3 slices Healthy Choice Ham, pear
L: hot dog, french fries
S: apple, 5 baby carrots
D: ?

Hello all!

Today was more fun than usual. I think I might do cardio tonight :) or walk if weather permits.

B: 2 slices toast with 1 TBSP peanut butter, apple
L: "Tiger Bowl" (popcorn chicken, corn, mashed potatoes, gravy, cheese) and roll
S: apple, water

Hey!

B: baked potato, 2 slices toast with 1 TBSP peanut butter
L: most of a chicken salad with ranch
S: handful of baby carrots
D: pasta of some sort

Welcome to Crunch Time USA! The play is this upcoming weekend, state testing, and my Daily Queen (ice cream place) meeting is today! Food hasn't been good-I gained 1 this week...which I kind of expected because I had McDonalds, a ton of pizza and Cold Stone this week.

I'm going to see if I can have one baby sherbet each week and if I do, I get a Cold Stone smoothie on Sunday.

Saw Chicago yesterday-simply amazing...ate lunch at Panera (1/2 chicken caesar and cup of broccoli cheddar soup with baguette hunk) and then shopping and a food court dinner (1 ginormous slice Sbarro pizza and a large Chick Fil A fruit cup). I could have picked Subway but the tomato and garlic smell was wayyyy too tempting for me.

Cheerleading tryouts are coming up too!

B: 2 slices PB toast, 1 cup cheerios
L: turkey sandwich on wheat with tomato, swiss, lettuce, mayo and homemade chicken noodle soup

Exercise: 7 minute walk
