No Day But Today-A Third Installment of TigerCheer2009's Progress so Come On In!

Good morning Julie! I plan on staying in...I think I'm catching a cold :( so I don't want to be sick and wet and cold. Tell Bekah to have fun!

Morning, Tracy! I think this is one of the newer FIRM ones. It has "Allie" in it and she's a pretty good instructor. It's extremely fast moving so pay attention or be lost. The warm up is good (neck rolls, shoulder rolls, etc.). We take it to the "club" with some fun moves, including the heel pull and Happy Feet. Then we disco it up with moves like the locomotion and the hitchhiker. Salsa is next and that is my favorite of all because it's a LOT of hip movements, and turning and twisting and "booty shaking". The cool down is excellent (or so I think) with a good combo of moves that draw from dance and some yoga. It's a good DVD-I enjoy it but it's one I would do in the living room when everyone's gone because if you lose your momentum, it takes a bit of time to get it back. Not to mention, some of the moves are pretty silly (like in the disco one, you do a move where you "comb" your hair). I'm going to stay with it because it's fun and I want to be able to get through it uninterrupted one day.

Have a great snow day all! :) It's cold and the snow is DEEP, from what I hear.

I think I'm going to have a pear in about 15 minutes. I read somewhere that healthy snacking increases your metabolism... :scratchin

Thanks Jen! Where did you get the DVD? It sounds like one I would love to try out! Maybe Netflix has it....

Have a great day! Stay warm!

I picked it up at Walmart by the exercise balls and weights. It's got a kind of pink case and the girl on it is dressed it a black top that looks like a bikini with sleeves. :)

Any time!

I am currently munching on a pear and am thinking about a tuna sandwich and tomato soup for lunch...maybe a salad or baked potato if I can find the fixings.

It's great to see you back!! I don't envy your snow day though... You better get that taken care of by this summer, since we are going to Cedar Point for 2 days!   My DD7 is finally over the magic height of 48" and she can't hardly wait to go.

You are doing great with your workouts and eating, keep it up! :cheer2:

Amy

It's always gone by the summer, but the humidity is killer! ;) The new ride called Maverick is pretty sweet, but then again I love the classics...Raptor, Millennium Force, Woodstock Express...:cloud9:

Thanks, Amy! :)

Now I must mention that I have hit a wall in my eating. Happy Mouth Fever has cropped up. I made this fo-ca-cha thing (like pizza crust with garlic and other things) and had 3 slices, plus a taste of the cinnamon one. I made a sausage (which I tossed because I didn't cook it properly). I made Meat Sauce with hotdogs, took two bites of it and tossed it (that was DEFINITELY a mistake). So now I'm making chicken noodle soup with extra chicken and having water and gum till 3! Hand me the duct tape-I'm going to need some drastic measures.

Hang in there Jen :)
The dvd sounds fun :)
I watched a tv programme about great theme park rides & cedar point was on! It looks a great place to visit!
How are you feeling? Did that cold arrive or did you manage to chase it off?? :)

Thanks!! :)

It's really really cold here and really really snowy. The snow is coming between our front door and our door that leads to the outside. It's a good day for penguins and polar bears!

Thanks for the sunshine, Tracey! I really needed it.

I actually went out and shoveled snow for about 10 minutes. The biggest drift went up to right below my knee (I'm 5 ft 4 in tall.) It's blowy and persistant and COLD!

Snack:
baked potato with cheese
ham slice

Today was NOT a very good eating day. The snow day factored in to this. I was bored nearly all day and we had no healthy food in the house. We need to go shopping but the roads are ucky.

B:
scrambled eggs (2)
ham (2 slices)
toast (1)
OJ (6 ounces)

L:
sampling of:
hot dogs and spaghetti sauce
chicken noodle soup

S:
pear
baked potato with cheese
ham slice

D:
2 hot dogs
1 bread slice
1.5 cups fries

total=1519 cal

I also shouldn't be eating this late. I just finished dinner and I was ravenous. I probably would have eaten carpet if I was sitting on the floor. I know better.

"Finish each day and be done with it. You have done what you could; some blunders and absurdities have crept in; forget them as soon as you can. Tomorrow is a new day; you shall begin it serenely and with too high a spirit to be encumbered with your old nonsense." Ralph Waldo Emerson

Tomorrow WILL be better. It will be because hopefully I've gotten this junk food nosh out of my system.

Breakfast (dependent on school):
-2 scrambled eggs with ham
-1 slice toast

Lunch (dependent on school)
-???

It is another beautiful, SNOW filled day! I'm prepared this time though. I found some fish in the freezer that I will broil for lunch and have with some healthy accompaniments. :)

See y'all later!

oh yeah...and happy Valentine's day, everyone!

Hi!

B:
2 scrambled eggs with ham
3/4 cup honey nut cheerios

L:
"pizza pocket"

Wow, I can't believe you are snowed in AGAIN! I'm sure you will do better today, from the sounds of it, I think you learned your lesson about snow-day-snacking yesterday, right?? ;)

I've definitely done better today. All of those snacks made my tummy feel sick. Not a pleasant feeling, but live and learn.

I did a "sneak" WI this morning.
215 to 212!!! But it's not official until Saturday...but I'm still psyched! party: :jumping1: :rainbow: :dance3:

I had a very filling snack of a "ham burrito"-tortilla with cheddar and mozzarella shredded cheeses (melted) with ham and I dipped it in salsa. It was very delicious!

dinner:
1 cup spaghetti
~~2 large meatballs (they were heart shaped!)

I even indulged in a sparkling apple cider ~~5 oz.

We actually had school today, but a 4 day weekend (conferences Friday and Pres. Day).

I had quite an eating day yesterday-good with the snacks, bad with the dinner. I just can't eat after 8 pm or I go hogwild with hunger! I get so hungry I make bad decisions. Yesterday I had spaghetti with a couple ginormous meatballs (3 large heart shaped ones) and sparkling cider.

Today was better. I had:
-2 meatballs
-2 slices toast
-1 TBSP peanut butter

-grilled chicken sandwich (I had a HECK of a time putting this on fitday!)
-3/4 bag of pretzels

Must dash for chorus practice! :)

:cool1:  :woohoo:
Way to go on the 'unofficial' wight loss ;)
Has that snow gone yet???
Food looks great :)

Aww, thanks!!! I'm kind of afraid I'll have gained it back due to the Valentine's/snackie nosh! The snow is still here. We got about a foot (give or take a couple of inches) of snow and there's still more coming!

Dinner:
-Chicken McGrill (no mayo)
-small McDonald's fries
-water

After practice, I walked quickly to a gas station where I bought a liter of water and am consuming it now.

All the food I ate today adds up to 1500 cals...right on the nose!
