Good morning Julie! I plan on staying in...I think I'm catching a cold
so I don't want to be sick and wet and cold. Tell Bekah to have fun!
Morning, Tracy! I think this is one of the newer FIRM ones. It has "Allie" in it and she's a pretty good instructor. It's extremely fast moving so pay attention or be lost. The warm up is good (neck rolls, shoulder rolls, etc.). We take it to the "club" with some fun moves, including the heel pull and Happy Feet. Then we disco it up with moves like the locomotion and the hitchhiker. Salsa is next and that is my favorite of all because it's a LOT of hip movements, and turning and twisting and "booty shaking". The cool down is excellent (or so I think) with a good combo of moves that draw from dance and some yoga. It's a good DVD-I enjoy it but it's one I would do in the living room when everyone's gone because if you lose your momentum, it takes a bit of time to get it back. Not to mention, some of the moves are pretty silly (like in the disco one, you do a move where you "comb" your hair). I'm going to stay with it because it's fun and I want to be able to get through it uninterrupted one day.
Have a great snow day all!
It's cold and the snow is DEEP, from what I hear.
I think I'm going to have a pear in about 15 minutes. I read somewhere that healthy snacking increases your metabolism...
