No Comtemporary Garden wing rooms?

We would like to go in mid August. There are no, not any, nada, rooms avaliable in the Contemporary Garden Wing. Is there any hope that something will open up? Want badly to stay there, but can only afford the Wing.

TA suggesting Boardwalk Inn as an alternative. Not sure about the buses from there.

We need to have two queen beds and a day bed/sleeper sofa.

Any suggestions either for getting a wing room or what to do in the alternative.

Keep trying. They block out rooms for conventions at the CR months in advance, then when they know how many will actually be needed, rooms open up for the public.

Besides the convention factor their Garden Wing rooms are the least expensive when it comes to rooms among the Monorail Resorts, so they can be reserved very fast because of that.

Now if you still can't get them I would listen to your TA and look at the Boardwalk Inn because they are also a great resort like the Contemporary, so with either one you can't make a bad decision.

We recently stayed in the CR Garden Wing with a large group that had a block of rooms and one day I would try to make reservations, and there was no availability and the next day they would have them. This went on and off while I tried to book several rooms for a good period of time. Keep trying if it's what you really want and have a back up plan.
