No clocks in rooms?!

I like to roll over in bed and check the time on the alarm clock, not mess up my circadian rhythm by opening up my cell phone and getting blinded by the bright light.
I'm with you, same here. I can't imagine a hotel not having a clock in their rooms.

How inconvenient! I don't have a smartphone and rely on a bedside clock.

Don't have one either, guess I'm in the minority on this one.

We requested a clock in February at the Grand Floridian and it was brought very quickly.
Agreed it seems silly to remove the clocks just to free up a single outlet. The rooms already have so many outlets in my opinion and they've even added power strips.
Many overseas hotels don't have clocks in the rooms but I prefer one.
Our culture is already too reliant on having a phone in one's face.

No all the resorts have that many plugs, we stayed at Pop once and had to take turns charging our phones, we now pack a small power cord.

I would prefer to have a clock in the room. I don't keep my cell phone on me all the time.

I bought a small one at Walmart to take with us next month. We all have iPhones but I like to look over and see the time.
I've never seen a room without a clock...

I have an app on my iPhone and iPad that provides white noise and several different clock faces. It also allows you to adjust the brightness of the screen, and you can choose whether you want the clock to show all the time or if you want the screen to go dark. So I just use whichever I happen to be charging overnight as my alarm clock. I confess I was always unplugging room clocks to plug in my own devices.

We had a preferred room at POR at then end of January & our room had a clock. Guess we were lucky! (And yes, I did like having one so I didn't have to mess with my phone in the middle of the night.)

What did they do with all of them?? Were hundreds donated someplace, or are there thousands of clocks sitting in storage somewhere in case people ask for them?

Interesting... We were at BC and BLT last month and never even noticed if there were clocks or not. I never use hotel clocks anyway. We are part of the "use my phone for everything" group.
