Pre Trip Plans - Day 4 - Saturday, May 16th!

Oops! Almost forgot to put down the last day's plans! This day I thought it might be nice to just take our time (maybe even order room service as a splurge) and head over to Epcot at a leisurely (no rope drop needed) pace!

But it's so much easier to do when you don't have kids pulling you in three different directions! Ed always says, "Remember how nice it was when it was just the two of us and we didn't have any plans....?" That's HIS kind of Disney Trip! (But I would be a wreck if we did that with the kids!)

I like the pontoon boat idea!

I haven't attached cash to the room key, we just used cash those times. But it would have been much easier to attach the cash and I'm certain I've heard of people who have done that. I usually have more of Shawn's thinking when at Disney but regret it when I get home! It's just so easy to spend money there!

your Day 4 plans look great! Just wanted to say I felt just like Michelle when we get that long bill at check out . Even when I think I'm staying on track it's usually still way more than I panned on spending. I have never used cash on the room card but that sounds like a good idea. Anyway i hope your packed and not too overwhelmed . See you Saturday

I agree, Kathy! Much easier to do when you don't have all the kids with you! I hope Shawn doesn't ask for me to push him in a stroller though!

Thanks Nichole! I'm thinking we will go with the cash thing! I wonder if they tell you on your receipt what your "balance" is though? Probably not. Then I would actually have to keep track of it...ugh...IDK...

Looking forward to Saturday too! Funny how in October you were ending your trip as we were starting ours, and now we will be ending our trip as you are starting yours! I might be drowning my sorrows in Lapu Lapus on Saturday night!!

Just checking in one last time before heading to take the kids to school and then going to the airport. Pangs of guilt have started whenever I look at my kids. I just have to keep telling myself that they JUST went in October, and that Shawn and I need to take a little trip just the two of us. But it's hard.

Flight leaves in 5 hours, so all there is left to say is....

Yay!!!

I can't wait to hear about your trip. I will be leaving in two weeks myself, for a trip with my sister and niece from Chicago. My niece is graduating high school and opted spend a week with her two favorite people. In one of her favorite places!

Anyway, we will NOT be staying at the Poly (unless some kind of disfairy grants us a secret wish), but my sister and I have stayed there in the past, and it is our very favorite. We consider it 'home'.

So have a nice time. I'm only a little bit jealous.

I don't get to stay at the Poly, but I do get a week at Disney. Yahoo!!!

Hello! We are back! We had a fabulous time! The weather was great, the Poly was AMAZING, the food was fantastic.....we ran into one teeny tiny problem that changed our last day plans, but I'll get to that when I start the report!

Hope no one minds a report filled with pictures of architecture and flowers and not a lot of people! It was quite different to not have our kids with us to take pictures of them....I don't like pictures of myself usually, so Shawn mostly took pics of scenery...HOWEVER, take pictures he certainly DID!!!! LOTS OF THEM!!! Over 530 JUST AT EPCOT!!! In one day! That boy is crazy! Anyways, I will get started soon....just have to wrap my head around a bunch of yucky work first!

I know! Kinda crazy, huh? Well, he would take like 10 pictures of ONE flower! I won't put that many in the report! LOL! With his camera, it is really easy to just click, click, click away....(I even got him taking pics of food because I've always felt weird doing that....he thought it was a great idea! LOL!)
