It was such a beautiful weekend here! We finished prepping the yard for winter (basketball net down, leaves raked) and I put up the Christmas lights

Yeah, I know, really early. But it was balmy summer weather and since it snowed last week, I know it'll come soon. Last year I froze putting them up and didn't end up putting up half of them because of it so this year, they're up... just not lit yet ... and I have refrained from putting the 5 light up reindeer and Santa's sleigh on my front yard yet
Feeling guilty about the money spent this weekend. We took the kids to sushi for the first time at this new all you can eat that opened near us. Food was great but the bill was almost $50

We don't eat out much but still, didn't plan on that. I figure its because of all the other bills that came in on Friday. We added a bathroom to our basement for when our parents visit (there's a bedroom there) and it came in $300 more than expected. Plus, there was a letter from Revenue Canada stating I messed up DHs taxes last year.. and looking at the numbers, they're right. I missed about $2000 in income so we now owe them almost $1000 by the end of the month or face interest charges.

We also got the estimate for DH's motorcycle that he crashed in Sept. I'm so thankful he's ok but the estimate is over $5K. We're not getting the body work done yet, just what needs to be done to get it roadworthy but still, when it rains it pours. I have a feeling there won't be much being paid on the line of credit before Christmas. I've been selling a bunch of stuff on kijiji so I have some there but its certainly not that much. The goal is to have the line of credit paid off by March... hoping that can still happen.
