this won't be a $0 day since I need to mail a package but I think that's all I need to spend money on today.

Well I told you guys that I have lost daily track, but I know exactly how much I have left thanks to the envelope system. My big goal this month was to stick to my $900 food budget no matter what. Lots of little things have come up I needed to pay for, we are in the process of moving my grandfather into an assisted living facility. He's in Florida and now we are moving him to Western PA. It has meant a lot of little expenses out of my pocket but......drum roll......I am within my food budget. I have to make it until next Sunday and have precisely $4.00 left. :rotfl: But I have everything I need until than. Made a trip to ths store over the weekend for things for us and for him. I am going to make it. This is the first month in a very long time that I have stuck to the budget. As my previous posts state I also bought a 1/4 beef, 1/2 pig, all my garden seeds and a bunch of stuff to set up housekeeping for my DGF. So I have very high hopes for next month when I will not have any of those extra expenditures!

Thanks guys for the motivation! My $4.00 is going to bring me down the home stretch. Can't wait for next months thread!

I actually didn’t shop this weekend! Even for groceries! :cool1: Its in large part due to a gastro bug I picked up but still a great achievement :rotfl2:

Congratulations! :cool1::banana::banana:
