Just spent a ton at target but everything I bought was 75% off and things we needed! 3 Pairs of Jeans (1 pair for me, 1 for Aaron and 1 for Dada), 1 sweater and a shirt. 3 pairs of boxers, and pajama pants. A lionel wooden toy train set originally 40 for 10! And a steering wheel car toy for Aaron. (ok, well maybe we didn't need the steering wheel car toy, but I did see it when the toys were 50% off and I thought he would really like it, but it was too much!) Glad I waited until it was only $3.74! Ended up saving $121.01!

In my previous months budgets I alway had a category for giving but starting with 2010, I decided that giving should not be an optional thing but a fixed expense and deleted it from my categories and included an amount in my fixed expenses budget that I do not post. Now I am rethinking this and wondering if I should continue to have my regularly weekly church collection amount stay in my fixed expenses but also have a monthly category for giving to other things that seem to come up each month. For example, I donated $10 to the Red Cross at the grocery store on the 16th and just included it as part of my grocery spending but am thinking that it should have been a a separate giving category. What do other people do?
