April 2- $0 ~~~I am counting this as a $0 spend day because all I spent on was taking my DD8 to the eye doctor ($60 copay) and because her eye is not getting better they had to patch it, so $12 for a patch. This to me is the same as a morgage, insurance and all that. It is a necessity. So while I am writing it down for my benefit to know where the money went, I am calling today a no spend day. Total- $72.96 It was a day off from school so I'd be lying if I said I wasn't tempted to do something with them, but we played outside (it was 86 today) and made peanut butter playdough (like at Coral Reef.)
April 3- Busy Day but financially not too bad. We did 3 eggs hunts (town, Adventure Landing and Girl Scouts) and 2 free crafts (Michael's and Home Depot) and played at the park.

April 15- $0 FINALLY!!! After I recorded this for the day, my evening go crazy. The kids came home with a ton of homework, I had just finished picking up my house for my Girl Scout meeting at my house and in setting up the craft I splattered permanent paint all over myself (thank goodness I was in my work clothes. I always dress to be painted on since I am a preschool aid.) But I had a huge mess to clean up and it left me 20 minutes to cook, serve and have dinner be eaten. While I was scrambling to clean up the mess I had made, DH said let him just go get a pizza. I said NOOOOOO, I finally got a $0 day. I can do this! So we didn't have chicken enchiladas as planned, but we made chicken nachos. Not as healthy, but still very yummy and I didn't spend a penny!!!
April 16- $0
I will try and record for tomorrow. No promises. We are heading out on vacation tomorrow for the week. We will be visiting grandma and grandpa so some money will be spent but not a crazy amount. I probably will loose track while gone for a week but I will try to keep track. We are not going to be too worried about being good. I want the kids to have fun, but since doing this we have all gotten better about enjoying while not being too frivilous.
Tomorrow I will get a few things for my DH and DD15 for while we are gone (they aren't going.) And we have a few things we need to get before we leave. So tomorrow will not be a $0 day.
Total No Buy Days--- 7
Total Spent- $1690.51
