Like the idea do staying at pors because of the extra bed in the Alligator Bayou preferred rooms. But, my question above is there is No balconies at riverside? when I look at the building pictures I see the outside hallways that bring you too your room? Could you not just bring your in room chairs outside if you wanted to "rest" outside, while your kids fall asleep... Maybe enjoy a beverage por two?(sorry if this is frowned upon).

We have stayed at pop, cbr and poly, so looking for something different... And not crazy expensive!

Only deluxe resorts have balconies. I have many times, pulled my chair outside to just sit and relax for a while and I have never had any problems doing so. All value/moderate resort rooms open up to the outdoors. AoA is a different story though, every section but Little Mermaid will be inside corridors but no balconies there at all in those rooms I don't think.

I thought the deluxes were the only resorts with balconies. I've never stayed at riverside though.

Ok that's good. We are there for 4 nights per cruise, and I can't see myself turning out the lights at 9 every night lol! Usually the kids need 20 mins to read and rest before they are out like a baby, then we can turn on the tv, shower and get ready for the next day in the parks!

You are correct, there are no balconies. You wont have a problems sitting outside on the public balcony though, I never had a problem with it when we stayed.

There are no balconies at the sister resort French Quarter either and people would use the room chairs on outdoor walkways :dance3:
