No availability at Chef Mickeys, hmmmmm

I called the WDW-DINE this evening, to try and reschedule a Tuesday night PS for dinner to an earlier time.
The CM I spoke with told me that the ONLY other PS time she had was for 8:45pm ;(

We were going to try and get an early dinner so we could go back to MK to see Spectro since MK has extended their hours for the first week in Oct.


Oh well..........guess that just proves how important PS's really are. And, how popular Chefy Mickey's is,LOL !!

Try again as your trip gets closer, if no luck, try again when you get there. I find a lot more flexibility on the day of the PS (even though it's last minute)...I guess there are cancellations or maybe they release more PS...have fun and good luck!!

I found that when I got there that there was more available. I agree with the above post . I think that they hold some. We had to change some PS and when I called in the morning for that evening there were alot of times available. More than when I called 30 days out.....

Chris,

You already have a PS. I suggest you arrive early, even if it is VERY early. The closer to the opening time, the better.
CRO can ONLY offer you a PS that fits into the current availability on the template. That's why 8:45 was offered.
But, many parties arrive early, some arrive late, some don't even show up, but it is ONLY the seating and podium staff that can make these changes on the fly that night.
If you arrive early, approch the podium, tell them you have a PS (bring your number), tell them you do realize that you are very early, and you are willing to wait to be seated. You would like to dine earlier if possible.
In most cases (short of a holiday night) they will squeeze you in.
I alway advise to be cooperative and understanding with the podium staff, like my mom always said, "You catch more with sugar than you do with vinegar!"
