Sorry, but I don't believe that the Diamond Pass includes free parking.
(You get free parking by staying at a WDW Resort.)

The Diamond Pass allows parking in a special section at each of the theme parks' parking lots.

It is closer-in to the gates, but has limited space, so those spaces might fill up on busy mornings.

Oh, I thought it did, or at least I thought you got free parking for booking with AAA. I know the AAA space is limited. But, are you saying anybody who stays on property gets free parking?

My mom bought a 1-day ticket from AAA this past December and ended up not going to the parks. The great thing about AAA was that she was able to return her unused ticket and they refunded her money.

To answer a PP question about staying on property and paying to park at the theme parks.....you just show your room key at the gate and you can park for free, a savings of $14 a day.

Here in upstate NY our local AAA offers discounted Disney tickets, but the discount was more substantial through the UT link through mousesavers. We bought through UT for our most recent trip and were pleased. The tickets arrived, I believe, 3 days after I ordered them and at check in we were able to get the passes put right onto our KTTW cards! Good Luck and enjoy your trip!:goodvibes

I never knew that! Thanks! We use Disney Transportation, but that's good to know.

Prices and deals can vary over time.

Here's the current info from Undercover Tourist:

Park Hopper + Water Park Fun & More (Fun Visits) (10 day) - No Expiration

SAVE $37 off (Adult) gate price $555.00 $531.00

Does that savings take into account sales tax?

I checked everywhere, Disney, AAA, other online sites... nobody who appeared reputable beat Undercover Tourist on tickets.

Please tell me what the diamond pass is! Do I buy it directly from AAA? I am a member. THANKS!!!

The Diamond Parking Pass lets you park closer to the entrance. You need to show the pass to the attendant and follow the lines. It took a little while to figure out some of the parking lots but if you get there early enough it was a nice, especially at MK where we were able to walk over to the Ticket & Transportation area from our lot instead of taking the tram.

I don't know if all Diamond Passes are the same, but we always book a package through our local AAA and you get the pass with the package. Some of the perks include free parking at the parks, discounts throughout the parks at designated shops and restaurants, discounts off mini golf and the sea raycers, coupon for Planet Hollywood, a special storytime for kids at the MK, I'm sure I'm forgetting a few more. In the past we have also gotten luggage tags, duffel bags, and even Disney Dollars, it depends on your local office and their promotions.

I'd call them and see. :thumbsup2

I only bought the park tickets and still received the Diamond Parking.

All UT ticket pries include tax and shipping. I've yet to find a site that beats their prices, especially with the Mousesavers discount.

AAA operates as a bunch of regional units under a national umbrella. Each regional unit is different and negotiates its own discounts, etc. That's why in one state they may not sell tickets, another its $5 off a small selection, and another is closer to what UT offers.

Right now, AAA New England appears to only save me $5 off a 10-day base ticket, but $43 of one with PH, WPFM and NE.
