NO A&E FP for us during a crowd level 1: Update found one thanks to some great people

For those who are trying, are you searching for your entire party at once, or just one person at a time? I didn't have luck with good slots when I searched for 4, but when I just searched for 1, I got the morning slots I wanted. Copying from one person to another didn't work...I had to book 4 overlapping slots for each person in my party individually.

Yes I remeber reding about that and had no luck with that method as well. I miss the old way, we had no prblem being there well before rope drop and going to get fastpasses!

You don't HAVE to have A&E FPs. You don't need to add that stress if you don't want to.

I know I don't HAVE to, but it sure would be nice for my family to avoid an hours long wait. I also don't HAVE to spend thousands of dollars on a vacation, but we do because my kids are only kids once and they LOVE it.

I won't lose my mind over it one way or the other, but the new system is showing its warts so far, and planning months ahead can be a bit frustrating. Spontaneous days seem to be going the way of the dodo.

Does anyone know if there are morning times available for the 16th? It is our departure day and the only day we have planned for MK past the 12th. But we need to leave the park after lunch (2-3pm).

I just checked in my fast passes like I was going to change one on the 16th and it says Anna and Elsa I can have any hour from 11:40 to 6:30. Good Luck... I just did mine this morning and got one for the night of the 13th!!!

My 60 day was Tuesday/Wednesday. I tried for 3 on 9/7 no luck, 3 on 9/8 got them for 8pm (this really doesn't work because the third person is suppose to leave that night, he has class early Tuesday morning but I still booked them. I try again for 9/7 1 at a time. I get 2. 1 for 5 and 2nd for 8. I go to bed wait up, grab my kindle and I was able to book a 3rd pass for 3. Back to sleep woke again grabbed kindle and I start changing times. I was able to change them to 2 for 1:30 and 1 for 1:20. Then I got greedy I saw an earlier time and next thing I knew I had 12:20, then half asleep I guess, it was for 5:20. Urgh!! I go back to sleep and when I wake I was able to get the 1:20 back. So I'm leaving it. Just keep trying....oh as soon as I got the 3 for 9/7, I canceled 9/8.

Something else to keep in mind for this time of year if you are attending a party and were shut out of an A/E FP. I'd be shocked if they don't add them to the lineup for parties. No way to tell if the lines will be even longer for parties, or if they'll do a good job managing the line-up. But it's an option.

I'm also curious how late they are scheduling FPs on those nights. Maybe they are cutting them earlier than 30 minutes out knowing they have to clear everyone through before the party starts.

This sort of reminds me of the BOG ADRs the year it opened. It was so frustrating that they not only did not have it open during parties but cut ADRs around 5, making a hot commodity even harder to come by.

Thanks for all the great insights and success stories everyone. We are hitting 60 days tomorrow and based on what I've read looks like if we shoot for later in the trip we should be ok. Fingers crossed x

Our window was last night. I was anxiously refreshing and awaiting it opening, it opened around 12:05am. We got 7DMT FP+ twice but only A&E once (the 16th, which is the last day of our trip, earliest slot was 12:40) we have to be out of the park by 2pm that day so I suppose we are saving the best for last as this is literally the last thing we will do!

I wonder if my daughter will wear an Anna or Elsa dress (we bought both to surprise her with)... and if she will continue to wear it onto the airplane home... LOL

Just wanted to update that someone posted they were available 8th -10th and I was able to get one for us on the 10th at 8:30! So go and check!
