NMAmy's To Do List - 4/26-Update-Page 21-The End

Hey, maybe you could find a dentist that does hair! :rotfl: Also, if you have your tooth fixed then you have an excuse to not fit in eating corned beef and cabbage too!:rotfl2: It will all get done I'm sure you'll go into superwoman mode!:thumbsup2

I LIKE the way you think! Multi-tasking is one of the things I do best. :rotfl: I do plan on getting my hair cut after my eye exam tonight. They don't do it at the same place but they're right next to each other in this little strip mall thingy. Who couldn't take advantage of a coincidence like that?

Oh, you all will love this--I ran out to the cell phone place last night to pick up Cait's charger. The guy who was helping me was checking my account to see if any of the new plans would work better for us and he asked why I was paying for unlimited text messaging since I hardly ever use it. I told him to look at Caitlin's phone and he said, "HOLY COW! Bob, come look at THIS!!" They were mightily impressed by the sheer number of text messages this child sent--they even got a calculator out to figure out how many she averaged per day. Get this--the average was ONE HUNDRED and FIFTY text messages per day. And she doesn't use that at school! :rotfl2:

I told her when the guys at the cell phone store are impressed by your text messaging abilities, that's something to be PRETTY proud of! :lmao:

That is amazing!!!! I think you should call Guiness to see if there is some sort of record for that. No doubt, hands down, your daughter has won!!! My husband thinks I am bad (maybe 1 or 2 a day). I am going to print this off and take it home.

:rotfl2: It's partly my own fault--for her last phone, I got her one that flips open and has a keyboard. Making it even easier to text! It takes her about 2 seconds to type out a message and takes me about 5 minutes to reply.

:scared1: 150 texts a day! That has got to be some kind of record! Your trip is so close, I am so jealous! I hope you have a stair scare free trip :rotfl: and that your eyes, hair and mouth are all doing the happy dance while you are there!:dance3: Have fun!:thumbsup2

Future employer: Can you type??
Cait: No... but I can send 150 text messages a day :lmao: :rotfl:

Unlimited text messaging is a VERY good thing in your case. LOL!

:rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: 150 a day, that is amazing! How do they do that. My DS is the same way, all those little messages that only they understand!:confused3

Well, not much longer until your trip!! I am so jealous!! Good luck at the eye doctor!! Hope they get that straightened out today!!

haha being 18, i can see how easy it would be to send 150 text messages a day. I don't think ive ever sent that many though a day haha. I loveee  the unlimited text messaging plan :goodvibes

150 text messages a day:scared: Can a person get carpal tunnel in the finger? I hope not:rotfl2: I've had a hairdresser that would work perfect in a dentist office, when she was done my mouth dropped far enough they could have fixed my tonsils without a problem and I don't mean in a good way:rotfl: Hope you got great service from the strip mall contacts, hairdressing, corn beef cabbage, wine strip mall.:lmao:

dddisrunner: Thanks so much for the good wishes! My eyes and hair are okay now--although I'm still on a trial pair of lenses and have to go back AGAIN after we return. Got my hair cut right afterward and even made it to the bank last night (which I'd forgotten about!) Good to know we'll have some cash to take along. ;) I colored my sparkly hair last night, too, so I'm doing well!

medicgirl: If ever a job becomes available which involves constant text messaging, Caitlin is a shoo-in! Actually, I think that would be her dream job. ;) When she was little, her dream job was to work at 7-11 because "that's where all the candy is." :rotfl:

dwaddict I really have no clue how teenagers do all that texting! I'm fast at typing but that's NOT typing. And Caitlin likes to mock how slowly I text. Mainly because I refuse to use all the abbreviations. ;)

wdw_girl_18 Thanks for reading! I was talking to Caitlin last night and she told me, "I don't know why everyone thinks it's so funny. I don't think 150 texts a day is a lot." :rotfl2: I guess if a majority of them say, "Idk" or something similarly short, it would account for a lot of them. She sends me a lot that say, "Idk." :rotfl: For the uninitiated, that means I don't know. (I had to ask the first time.)

TeddyToo: I think Cait must have extremely muscular fingers. She's good at video games, too, so I think it's just practice, practice, practice!

:rotfl: at your hairdresser! Luckily, my hair only takes about 10 minutes for them to trim. It's just straight across so nothing fancy there. The girl I had last night was VERY excited about my trip to WDW, though, and wanted all the details. She got a big tip for being so happy for me. :rotfl:

The corn beef and cabbage is set for tomorrow night--my mom told me she didn't want me to have to cook and clean up right before my trip. I had to laugh because I had absolutely no intention of cooking on Thursday night which would have eliminated the kitchen cleaning portion but she wants to hang out before we go and she IS driving us to the shuttle bus so I need to mind my p's and q's and stay on her good side!

I couldn't get into the dentist until after I get back so I have an appointment with my regular doctor today. She's going to fuss at me for procrastinating but I deserve it and as long as she gives me some antibiotics, I'll just take it. ;)

Thanks so much for reading everyone. It gives me a little thrill to check this thread in the morning and find a bunch of replies! You all made my morning!

Oh, Am, I love you. You crack me up :lmao:

I am so glad you were able to hit the eye place and have your hair done. Nothing worse that a woman who wants her hair cut like yesterday and they can't fit you in for another 3 weeks :scared1:

Now, do we remember what we are getting for Ms. MM?

I just stumbed on your PTR. Love it!! I love all the teenage girl drama. I have 2 boys so I hope I miss out on that. I remember myself as a teenager. Have a great trip!

I love you, too, pal! My notebook is at home right now so I can't be ABSOLUTELY sure (I write stuff in there so it doesn't have to take up room in my brain)--but I believe it was a blue crackle finish Mickey freezer mug. Am I close?

I'm also going to be purchasing a Mickey head wine bottle closer thingy--you know, a Mickey head with a cork on the bottom. :rotfl: That's for a friend of mine at work who I've converted to the Disney way. Apparently, she just cannot drink wine without Mickey's help. :lmao:

Good news! My lovely doctor did NOT give me a hard time and not only wrote me a prescription for pencillin but also for a pain killer--just in case. I love her.

:wave2: Hello, Kzoo!! Welcome, jbmom, we're practically neighbors!

I hope you miss out on all the teen girl drama, too. I wouldn't wish that on my worst enemy. Now, my mom--she thinks it's freaking hysterical and encourages Caitlin by telling her about what a little terror I was as a teenager. She's messing with the perfect angel girl image I've tried to project. :rotfl:

Thanks so much for reading!

The painkiller will also come in handy if you fall/get pushed down any stairs!!

Though we all hope that does not happen, but just incase!!!

You're absolutely right--it's good to have a back up plan!

Tomorrow is the big day. DH has the day off, the lucky duck, although he's on my list now. And not the good list--the BAD list. He's going to be resting up for the big trip and doing his packing. Meanwhile, I have to work all day, I feel like crap (and I can't decide if it's the antibiotics or the tooth or the new contacts or a combo of the three that is causing the problem!), and I've got dozens of last minute things to do today. Ok, time to go to my happy place because I'm off to WDW in the morning!

Thanks for keeping me company until it was time for the trip, my friends! I really appreciate it.

TOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO-MORROW, Tomorrow, we love ya, tomorrow...you're only a DAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY!

NOW it's Thursday!
