NJ to FL-Cheapest gas

Hi we are driving down in July and wondering what the states along I-95 from NJ to FL that have the cheapest gas. We live in NJ, so I know we have pretty cheap gas (believe me, this is the ONLY thing
that is cheap in NJ) but just wondering if there are any states we should fill up before we leave them to go onto the next state. Thanks.

In general, parts of southern VA and SC are the cheapest on my most recent trips. In any state on I-95, stations nearer to the borders are cheaper than the middle of the state. If you take I-295 around Jacksonville, there are very good prices on the westernmost part of the bypass (just before and after the I-10 interchange).

I vote for Gas buddy. If you plug in the make and model of your car. Your starting address and ending address, Gas buddy will calculate when and where you will need to fill up. It will also tell you what gas stations in your area are the cheapest.
