NJ NETS Fans

Hi everyone, don't usually post over here, but I wanted to see how many Nets fans there were on these boards. In my house, we have always been both Nets and Knicks fans. I can't believe how much the Nets have changed in the past 5 years. What a transition. I think this year they are a much better team and have a legitimate chance to win it all. I know my heart skipped a beat on Saturday when Jason Kidd came down wrong. I thought all the hopes and dreams were down the tubes. It just goes to show how strong that guy really is.

So anyway, just wanted to see who else was rooting for the Nets? I can't wait for the 4th!

I have been a Nets fan since they played on Long Island at the Commack Arena and the Island Garden when they were in the ABA. GO GO NETS!!!!!

The best news for Jersey is Tim Duncan gets very few calls for a superstar, guys are always pounding on him. Unlike another big guy who breaks a guys wrist and it's not even a foul, knocks a guy, not out of bounds, but into the fans and it's not a foul, knocks guys down and steps on them and expects for the steppee to be called for a foul, and they usually are, the most over protected player in NBA history, who still complains the most, but lucky for you you are not playing the Lakers!

GO NETS. This is so great that the Nets and the Devils are in the finals. The Devils game last night was great and I'm hoping for the Nets to have a great series, too.

Spurs collapse in the 4th quarter, Nets own the 4th quarter. The outcome is already decided. It's only a question of if the Spurs can make the finals or not.
Also the Spurs couldn't contain Stephon Marbury, do you think they'll have an answer for Jason Kidd??

It should be a pretty good series. Its about time some different teams made the NBA finals. I look for the Spurs in 6 games.

Disnee Dad Says................................. Should be a good series, maybe San An in 6. Gotta look at the schedule, it kinda tells you who will win when. Without seeing the schedule, I guess the NBA wants it to go 6 games. San An in game six.

Last year when the KIngs lead the Lakers 3 to 2, all our workers were very happy. One asked me, what do you think now.?
I said we lose, either game six, or game seven, depending on the television market. And we did, free throws all Lakers in the fourth, Kings none.

Some cry about our missed free throws, in game seven it wouldn't have mattered, if we made them, there would have been other calls.

I am 20 out of 23 the last 23 years. They got me on the no one repeats for twenty years, and back in the 80's, no one did till Detroit. And Chicago, but I played along.

Six games at best. Homage to Robinson? He retires, we have a wholesome group, nice for the media!

Look for a surprize team next year in the leastearn division, but it will be a hard sell, so maybe Boston, the Knicks?
Even I can't get it. But there will be one.
